Hello, friends! After a long spell of no updates I figured I should say something for a change ^^ There’s a lot to talk about! My husband and I moved into an apartment about a month and a half ago so we could be closer to his job, and we’ve had a fun time settling in here and exploring the area. We kinda live right in the middle of a shopping center, so there are lots of places to go, but it gets pretty crowded on weekends. It’s also been a little tough suddenly being over an hour away from family, but we’re close enough to visit fairly often anyway. And while I love the apartment complex, the “no pets” rule is a serious downside. My Dad is taking care of my bird for me, but I would love to have him here and get a cat or two. Someday, someday.
Oh yes, and I’m an aunt! I forgot I hadn’t said anything about that yet either! My little nephew Landon was born about 5 months ago now. He is such a cutie! But you don’t have to take my word for it -
I feel really bad for not posting any artwork in such a long time! Especially since I now have a tablet and Photoshop CS5 at my disposal ^_^ I’m pretty much devoting all of my drawing time to an illustration project right now for a guy who’s in the process of writing a book. No way to tell yet if it will get published or not, but I sure hope so! Anyway, since the pictures are for his book, I wouldn’t feel right posting them online, so they must be kept hidden for now. One of these days I’ll have to find some time to draw some good ol’ anime fanart ^_^
