White World

Inside my mind I have a place.
Where all the world is white.
Icy shores of snow and crystal.
Never overcome by light.

And in this place where all is frozen.
To me it is never cold.
This land where all is perfect.
Imagination never grows old.

I find serenity in the silence.
As I walk in thought alone.
Not tormented by suffering.
Or burdened by worries unknown.

This is my own white world.
Where fear and sorrow cease.
Here is my personal sanctuary.
For a time I am at peace.
