In Memory of Whitney Houston

So today I learned that Whitney Houston has died at the age of 48. It's really sad to see this happen, especially after seeing how her career has suffered from her personal problems. To be honest, though, I haven't been updated on what she has been doing in the last years of her life.

However, I do appreciate the songs that she has performed through the years, like "I Will Always Love You" and "The Greatest Love of All". And I gotta say that for a cover of a song by Dolly Parton, she did a marvelous job in "I Will Always Love You" and made it her own. I'm sure there are other good songs out there by Ms. Houston that I'm very familiar with. It's just that I didn't know the title or I didn't know that she was actually the one who sang it.

For now, I hope and pray that her soul will now rest in peace. My condolences to her family and friends.

And since I've discussed the song to a certain extent already, I'll end this post with a video of I Will Always Love You:
