Vacation Report

I was supposed to post this on Tuesday, but I got busy and tired. Anyway, here is my vacation report. As promised, no paragraphs. Just a bullet-type post.

MAY 3 - My parents tell me and my brother all of a sudden that we'll be going to Agusan del Sur. Left for said province through ship at evening.
MAY 4 - Arrived in Trento, Agusan del Sur.
MAY 5 - Started spending time working at my grandfather's hardware shop.
MAY 6 - Nothing special.
MAY 7 - Started reading "Densha Otoko" ("Train Man") at OneManga.com. Made the Psychology Society website online.
MAY 8 - Changed the web host of my website. At hardware store, a kid called me *gulp* UNCLE. Visited a nearby inn in the hills managed by my uncle.
MAY 9 - Bought new toothbrush to replace broken old toothbrush.
MAY 10 - Sale at the streets near Trento Public Market (happens every Saturday).
MAY 11 - Mother's Day. Ice cream galore.
MAY 12 & MAY 13 - Nothing special.
MAY 14 - Picture taking at the hardware. (Hopefully, I shall post some soon.)
MAY 15 - Nothing special.
MAY 16 - Grandpa's hardware gets new employee named Simon. (Names changed to protect privacy.)
MAY 17 - 20-year-old Simon called 18-year-old me *gulp* UNCLE. (Man, do I really look that old?)
MAY 18 - Went to shopping warehouse. Bought chocolates for mom as belated Mom's Day gift. Finished "Densha Otoko"
MAY 19 - Sent the photos.
MAY 20 - Aunt and her family who migrated to New York arrive in Trento.
MAY 21 - Toured my US-migrated cousins around Trento. We got souvenirs from US: most notably a big box of Oreos (YUM!) and Swiss Milk choco drink powder.
MAY 22 - Spent time with extended family at Mainit Hot Springs in nearby province of Compostela Valley.
MAY 23 - Tour with extended family at Davao Crocodile Park and SM Davao in Davao City.
MAY 24 - Bought new flannel jacket at Saturday sale for PHP 100 (less than US$ 2)
MAY 25 - Coming-home party for my aunt and her family who migrated to New York and arrived in Trento.
MAY 26 - Departure.

OTHER NOTES:
- I've been called UNCLE at least six times, mostly from kids who seem to be around 10-14 years old. But the amusing yet scary one was Simon calling me that word even though he's older than me.
- I got to eat the ice cream!
- Internet was available 24/7 at my grandma's house.
- A drawn version of my jacket will be shown on my submission for Kami's Contest.

And that's all I can say. HAVE A NICE DAY.

Birthdays, Chocolate Fountains, Vacations, and Unmasking

Currently listening to several character theme music pieces from Death Note, particularly that of Light and L. Yes, the fandom continues to live on . . .

Last Sunday, I attended the 18th birthday party of my cousin in the province of Negros Oriental. It was fun, with all the food, the dancing, the coats and ties, the singing of my little cousins, the photoshoots (especially with the one posing like Light), and the Chocolate Fountain.

Oh, the sweet, delectable Chocolate Fountain. Goes well with the bite-sized brownies, butterscotches, marshmallows and fruits. Even more special when there's nothing to dip on anymore and it's all hardened; that way, you can scrape it with a spoon and have some chocolate for your sweet tooth. L and Mello would've been so happy . . . Thanks Blue Hawk for introducing me to this sweet invention back in your 18th birthday.

On other birthday-related stuff, our bossman Adam is celebrating his birthday. Go ahead, click the link and show some love . . . or at least a ceasefire if you're a bit upset with him.

Anyway, in the next three weeks, I'll be out of town and spending a vacation at my mother's province of Agusan del Sur. So, I'll be offline at that time. They actually have Internet there, but last time I checked it was SO slow. Plus, I might be busy working in my grandpa's hardware store.

Lastly, I've decided that, after more than a year of hinting that I'll be "unmasking The Mask", I'm finally gonna do it . . . NOW! So, here it goes...

Oops! I was shot at my back! My brother actually took this pic without my knowledge at the hotel where my cousin had that party I talked about. So I guess that The Mask is still NOT unmasked! *evil laugh*

Until next time, everybody!
