Hello everyone and welcome! I'm trainer Pink! With this new year I would like to try something new. Not only will we talk about our favorite pokemon, most loved regions, or even aspects we don't like. I want to get to know the other trainers out there. So, let me start off by asking an unusual question. Some trainers out there draw out there adventures with their beloved team while being dressed in their favorite heroes clothing. Awkward zombie does it for example dressed like Gold.

My question to you trainers out there is this, what NPC or player character made you the trainer you are today? Who is your favorite and why? For me it isn't a question, I don't even have to think about it. I am the trainer I am today because I spent so much time battling Green.

I know what you're thinking, and no, this isn't fangirl ramblings. This is honest admiration for a better trainer. When I first picked up my Red version, I didn't know what to think or how dear it would become to me. I started my journey with a bulbasaur and the intent to do what the great Professor Oak asked of me. To complete the pokedex. Then his grandson shows up with more attitude then my young little mind could process.

He completely destroyed me the first time we battled. I can even remember thinking "Who's this little fartknocker killing my flower dinosaur? How did he even do that so quickly?" Then, I started getting the hang of the game, or so just thought. I took out a couple of trainers and thought "yeah, I got this! His fire lizard doesn't mean crap!" (Excuse the language xD I was eight guys give me a break) Then he stomped me again.

This is where little Usagi learned what it feels like to loose. This is also where my competitive streak comes from now. I wanted to beat him. I wanted it badly but, to do that, I had to be better than him. I trained and trained and trained. Sometimes he beat me after that sometimes I won. What that taught me was to keep a level head battling and watch your opponent carefully. I wanted to be as good of a trainer as Green all the time, not just sometimes.

I can't tell you how many times I changed my teams formation and taught them different moves until I found a combo that worked for me. Green taught me to be a step ahead of everyone else. To be ready for ANYTHING they could throw at me. God I can't tell you how much I hated him in the beginning. Honestly he really pissed me off in the beginning. Then as I got older I totally understood why.

Now, I strive to be that trainer that pushes everyone's buttons. I want to be good enough to teach you something when you battle me. I'm trainer Pink but I dress like Green. So guys, who taught you everything?
