Inside Kyuubi: New York

It was a crowded city, New York. And as always, it's not the kindest. I looked around. Houkou and I just finished our Broadway showing of "Cats and Dogs" I wanted to go back to the hotel room so I can lay down. Houkou wanted to shop a little.
"You go shop. I'll be fine on my own." I said.
Houkou was always to loyal.
"Are you sure, Neka? I should probably walk back with you..." he tried.
"How about this. You can hail me a taxi." I convinced.
Houkou of course agreed.

When I arrived back in the room I found Kyuubi there too. Me, Kyuubi, and Kaku, Shared a room together. They slept on the beds and I slept on the couch.
"Oh, hi Kyuubi!" I greeted.
"Hi Neka." he sighed.
I heard the sadness in his voice and I got concerned. It was never like Kyuubi to get so down before.
"What's wrong?" I asked gently. He was sitting on his bed looking at the floor. I sat across from him on Kaku's bed.
"Oh, I just had a bad day." he said.
"Let me see..." I said. I lifted his chin so I could look him straight in the eyes.
I had this special power of looking into people's souls. I could see their memory, and see what they are feeling.
I saw the incident that happened with the giant Misa. But he also had little things go wrong with him. Like, people ignoring him, spilling his coffee, and the taxi driver charging him extra. But then when I saw his soul, I felt pity...

"Come with me." I said, breaking the jutsu.
It was now 11:24 pm. I guided him to the harbor. You could see the Statue of Liberty.
"What are we doing here?" he asked. I could tell he was anxious.
"Just wait." I commanded.
A few moments later music started up. It was a mix of all the new music on the radio. Just then fireworks appeared. There were tons! Blues, greens, reds, yellows, even one that changed colors after a few seconds.
I looked over at him and saw the excitement in his eyes. I could tell, no I knew, that this event made up for everything that happened today.
Then I couldn't contain my joy any longer. I went up to him and kissed him on the cheek. He deserved it. And needed it.
He looked over at me and blushed.
"Wha-What was that for?" he asked.
I smiled and said,
"I just hope I made this the greatest trip ever for you"
