I'm sorry to hear that you are having a rough time
BUT just like what one of my favorite professor would say:
"You are not your grade!"
Yeah don't worry about it too much, cuz just like you said, how you have been a good student so your parents should give you a break at least. And I totally believe you are a hardworking person! So no need to prove anything :D
Have a good one and I hope everything will work out and get better from here
First off, I'm really sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. He passed away so young. That's terrible. I offer my condolences.
I've gotten a few bad grades over my school years (mostly in math because it wasn't my strongest subject, still isn't). But if I needed time with something like a project, they would generally let me have the time I needed to finish generall, not that I left projects for the last minute. But there was a few times I did. I usually got good grades in school, mostly As and Bs. I did alright.
But in regards to what you're going thru, your teacher should have given you the time to get the scissors. You probably wouldn't have taken very long. They know how impprtant these grades are, and a teacher who wanted you to succeed would give you time to get your scissors or whatever else you may have forgotten for a project. Just saying is all.
Hang in there. I hope this craziness goes away and you can get the peace you deserve. I'm here for you.
*hugs* I won't lie, I don't know what it feels like to get grades like that but I know what it's like to lose someone out of the blue. I really hope things get better for you soon and your teachers give you a break from the craziness.
Good luck :)

I'm sorry about your grades, but, trust me, I've been there. My entire sophomore was full of horrible grades... *shudder*. Don't let it get to you. A person's grades does not define the person. ^^
And as for the accident, I'm so sorry. I hope things work out for the family.
