chapter 1: tainted love

It was a hot day in Boonville. I was in a short skirt and low cut pink shirt. I was heading towards my locker for my book and binder for 2nd period. But Shavonne beat me there. Shavonne was my best friend since she was in the 4th grade and I was in the 6th. She was wearing dark pants and a dark tank top.

"Shavonne how can you stand them pants?" I asked as I opened my locker door to grab my book and binder.
"Madsion, you know me, I'm always cold." said Shavonne as she noticed me staring at this really cute junior guy.

He had dark hair. It looked like it was brown with red highlights. He had the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen. I felt like I was melting into his eyes. He was wearing a black shirt with a Nintendo paddle on it and gray sweatpants. I could feel my face getting really hot. I closed my locker door and walked out the building.

"Madsion wait up." yelled Shavonne from behind. As I got outside I could hear another fight breaking out. Just like the people at Starmount, they cause too much drama. "Madsion why is your face so red?" asked Shavonne as she caught up to me.
"You know why, I think I have huge a crush on that junior boy." I whispered to Shavonne. I looked behind me and that same junior boy stopped at the door and smiled when he noticed me.
"Shade wait up!" a guy called to that junior guy. As I felt my face turning red again, I turned and walked to my next class.

As I took my seat at the back of the classroom. I was so focused on memory of shades beautiful face that I didn't realized that I sat down next to him. Then I heard a familiar voice coming into the classroom. I thought oh no, not that creep again. I put head down to hide my face, hoping he don't see me.

"Madsion, I missed you!" yelled Nathan trying to hug me. I pushed him away. "Wanna go out with me?” he asked down on his knee.
"No!" I said keeping my face hidden between my arms.
"Come on! We can get a hotel!" he said still on knees.
"NO!" I said raising my voice a little.
"And you can bear my children." he continued as he tried to move in to kiss me.

The best part of the kiss was when his lips met my fist. And he landed on the floor hard and was knocked out.
"Good Job!" said Shade clapping.
"Oh, Shade when did you get here?" I asked frozen in disbelief.
"Oh I have been here the entire time." He said still clapping. Then the teacher looked in the direction of the loud ‘thud’ and saw Shade clapping.
"Madsion, why did you hit him?" asked the teacher shocked.
"No, I did it!" said Shade standing up. All I could do was stare at him in shock. He had no reason to take the blame for me.
"Shade you have distension after school." said the teacher. I felt really bad for getting Shade into trouble. So that when I thought about sneaking shade out of distension later.

I quickly ate my lunch and wrote a letter to Shade and dropped it off in his locker. The letter explained the plan for getting out of distension. Then I hurried off to my band practice. As I got to the gym, Shavonne and Ally had already beat me there and everything was set up including our banner with our band name ‘Evil Sisters’. I quickly changed into my vampire costumes for the band. "Okay, let's rock." I said as I grabbed my guitar and started singing, ‘I'm hex girl’. It's our favorite song and one to get us in the mood for singing.
