I got bored of the previous long-ass intro, so here's a new one, simple and to the point...mostly.

Hello, I'm Olivia and currently residing in Romania; around the internet, I mostly go by Oli and Pande (from another username), but you can call me however you want. I choose to rant for hours about things like movies, manga or Photoshop and like to make internet jokes, because I'm hip. I also have a tendency to go on unannounced hiatus at random times; however, I'm still around since "hiatus" means "lurking" to me - I couldn't possibly leave TheO for good :P I still reply to PMs, read posts and view artwork, I just don't comment the day they're posted (sometimes it may take up to a month for me to catch up!) Don't take it personally; I have nothing against you, it's just a bad habit of mine that I can't get rid of ^^"

Doing ATM: living an uneventful life, reading yaoi, dealing with two theses (HALP), playing Sims 3

Likes: cats, yaoi (+ plot, ideally), drawing geometry-based designs, manga, f7u12, organizing everything, being alone in my ~~cave~~ home, HTML & CSS, the pizza my best friend makes
Dislikes: not doing something, whiners, eggplants, starting projects and dropping them *does it all the time*, morons, communicating for the sake of appearances
Movies: The Prestige, The Wall, Hot Fuzz, The Descent - I'm a movie buff, so I like a lot
Music: anything that sounds good; almost everything, but metal in particular (HIM, Rob Zombie, Dimmu Borgir), Pink Floyd, E Nomine etc.
TV: Dexter (maybe I'll watch S8, depends on the amount of suckage), Game of Thrones (still need to finish S2)
Artists/Mangaka: Benjamin, Bohra Naono, Green Glass, Kai Asou, Midori Foo, Miwa Shirow, Nitro+, Saika Kunieda, Shin Mizukami, Yoshiki Nakamura, Yuki Yoshihara, Yugi Yamada etc.

Card submission problems

Is anyone else having trouble with submitting e-cards? ._. I got this message yesterday:

"A database error has occured with the following application: . Description of the error associated with the script: An error occured while executing a query. The database error occured on: Sunday 19th 2010f December 2010 03:37:45 AM The url of the reported page: http://www.theotaku.com/cards/submit"

(of course, different timestamp) and refreshed the page to see if that did the trick. Unfortunately, I was given the old "Sorry, you can't submit more than 3 cards within a period of 24 hours". Even more weird, though, is that the card does appear in my portfolio, but it's just a blank slot. ~~Here's the card, let me know if you can see the description.~~

I'm annoyed because this is supposed to be for Saku's Alphabet Cards meme and it doesn't show correctly. I think I can't even edit its description to upload the proper version (the one in Romanian, the only one up is currently the one in English).

EDIT: the tags also don't show up, and the card type is reset to "None".
EDIT2: link to card removed because the card was taken down and the link was dead.
EDIT3: I can edit the description; it spits out the "database error" thing but the new description is saved.
EDIT∞: Angel Zakuro posted a solution: don't add tags to your submission.

One more day!

...'til the card challenge I made is over :D I wouldn't have noticed it, had I not browsed it by mistake. I suck at managing things =3=

Anyway, it seems I've disappeared again, but I've still been around, commenting and whatnot. Some of you might have spotted me on your posts; the rest, sorry. Here comes one whole post of excuses and whining.

Whine #1: I hate waking up to go to college. Why? Because I wake up at whatever time I want for 4 out of 7 days, and I hate interrupting my nice schedule for something as bothersome as school *gets bricked* I don't know, I've been lazy before, but now I'm out to set a new record!

Whine #2: Today I was playing Sims 3 and saved, and it crashed. Again. After 3 hours of playing without saving. *facepalm* I know the game is horribly buggy and people need to make mods just to make it playable (let alone enjoyable), but whenever I start building or decorating I lose track of time D: So yeah, I had to replay 2 days of the ~~larva~~ baby stage. I hate Sim babies because all they do is crap, scream and cry D:

Excuse #1: All the texts I have to read for courses and seminars are 20+ pages long. And I have to photocopy or print all of them. Woe is me.

Excuse #2: If you know me, you also know I'm incredibly lazy. Like, I can't even believe how lazy I am. I have at least 2 wallpapers to make for contests, then I'll have to make the prizes for the e-card challenge, then I've got a ton of projects for both colleges then ARGH!! =__=" Is someone kind enough to put me out of the misery I've gotten myself into?

P.S. Am I stupid or are the tags not visible? They've been like this for a while for me, all I get is a blank box when clicking the Tags link. And I've tried in Firefox, IE and Opera: same result.
