20th of Nov. 2016: I'm not dead!

I'm doing OK, working and dealing with my mental health as well as I can. I won't be back here, though. I've started creating content for The Sims 3. As for anime, I've left it behind mostly.

If any of my old friends end up reading this - the years together have been great, and I still get nostalgic about them sometimes. Hope life is treating you well!~

8th of Nov. 2015: For anyone wondering what's happened to me

Simply put, I grew distant from TheO. The fine folks here have nothing to do with it, you all are still amazing (and I feel awful for missing so many birthdays >_<). Tagging on Minitokyo took up a lot of my time, and I gradually found myself visiting TheO less and less, until it got to literally months between visits. Hell, I don't even think I can remember my password, thank God Firefox has the option to save them.

I'm also not that interested in anime anymore - I mean, I like the style and still add to my collection of eye candy, but I don't feel the need to keep up with new releases. I've got my gigs of old manga and am pretty much satisfied with that. Art-wise, the same: haven't felt the drive to pick up or finish a work in months, probably as a result of my passion for anime fizzling out. I'm still playing The Sims 3, and have picked up Doom too (love them custom WADs!).

Anyway, if you made it this far, thanks for the visit. Drop me a line on Minitokyo if you feel like it.

Card submission problems

Is anyone else having trouble with submitting e-cards? ._. I got this message yesterday:

"A database error has occured with the following application: . Description of the error associated with the script: An error occured while executing a query. The database error occured on: Sunday 19th 2010f December 2010 03:37:45 AM The url of the reported page: http://www.theotaku.com/cards/submit"

(of course, different timestamp) and refreshed the page to see if that did the trick. Unfortunately, I was given the old "Sorry, you can't submit more than 3 cards within a period of 24 hours". Even more weird, though, is that the card does appear in my portfolio, but it's just a blank slot. ~~Here's the card, let me know if you can see the description.~~

I'm annoyed because this is supposed to be for Saku's Alphabet Cards meme and it doesn't show correctly. I think I can't even edit its description to upload the proper version (the one in Romanian, the only one up is currently the one in English).

EDIT: the tags also don't show up, and the card type is reset to "None".
EDIT2: link to card removed because the card was taken down and the link was dead.
EDIT3: I can edit the description; it spits out the "database error" thing but the new description is saved.
EDIT∞: Angel Zakuro posted a solution: don't add tags to your submission.

One more day!

...'til the card challenge I made is over :D I wouldn't have noticed it, had I not browsed it by mistake. I suck at managing things =3=

Anyway, it seems I've disappeared again, but I've still been around, commenting and whatnot. Some of you might have spotted me on your posts; the rest, sorry. Here comes one whole post of excuses and whining.

Whine #1: I hate waking up to go to college. Why? Because I wake up at whatever time I want for 4 out of 7 days, and I hate interrupting my nice schedule for something as bothersome as school *gets bricked* I don't know, I've been lazy before, but now I'm out to set a new record!

Whine #2: Today I was playing Sims 3 and saved, and it crashed. Again. After 3 hours of playing without saving. *facepalm* I know the game is horribly buggy and people need to make mods just to make it playable (let alone enjoyable), but whenever I start building or decorating I lose track of time D: So yeah, I had to replay 2 days of the ~~larva~~ baby stage. I hate Sim babies because all they do is crap, scream and cry D:

Excuse #1: All the texts I have to read for courses and seminars are 20+ pages long. And I have to photocopy or print all of them. Woe is me.

Excuse #2: If you know me, you also know I'm incredibly lazy. Like, I can't even believe how lazy I am. I have at least 2 wallpapers to make for contests, then I'll have to make the prizes for the e-card challenge, then I've got a ton of projects for both colleges then ARGH!! =__=" Is someone kind enough to put me out of the misery I've gotten myself into?

P.S. Am I stupid or are the tags not visible? They've been like this for a while for me, all I get is a blank box when clicking the Tags link. And I've tried in Firefox, IE and Opera: same result.
