20th of Nov. 2016: I'm not dead!
I'm doing OK, working and dealing with my mental health as well as I can. I won't be back here, though. I've started creating content for The Sims 3. As for anime, I've left it behind mostly.
If any of my old friends end up reading this - the years together have been great, and I still get nostalgic about them sometimes. Hope life is treating you well!~

8th of Nov. 2015: For anyone wondering what's happened to me
Simply put, I grew distant from TheO. The fine folks here have nothing to do with it, you all are still amazing (and I feel awful for missing so many birthdays >_<). Tagging on Minitokyo took up a lot of my time, and I gradually found myself visiting TheO less and less, until it got to literally months between visits. Hell, I don't even think I can remember my password, thank God Firefox has the option to save them.
I'm also not that interested in anime anymore - I mean, I like the style and still add to my collection of eye candy, but I don't feel the need to keep up with new releases. I've got my gigs of old manga and am pretty much satisfied with that. Art-wise, the same: haven't felt the drive to pick up or finish a work in months, probably as a result of my passion for anime fizzling out. I'm still playing The Sims 3, and have picked up Doom too (love them custom WADs!).
Anyway, if you made it this far, thanks for the visit. Drop me a line on Minitokyo if you feel like it.

And it feels absolutely great. No more stress, no more ungrateful people to deal with, and all because I realized: why should I deal with rude people twice my age, when I can NOT deal with them? c: Win-win!

Long story short, I've been Year Representative since Year 1 (now Year 3), and I've had it up to here with their antics and stuck-up attitude. Now, someone wanted to postpone the English exam (which would normally be on the 2nd of December*) for the 8th-9th, since the 1st is the National Day and, let's face it, everyone wants to stay the hell home/go on a trip instead of attending lectures. Cue obvious shitstorm fanned by people who can't comprehend that "going on holiday on the 8th-9th" and "having reserved plane tickets" aren't objective reasons.
Either way, I've given them an ultimatum: beyond the 10th of December, zero fucks will be given from my general direction about the Year Rep. I'll pack my proverbial shit and get the hell out of this thankless task regardless of whether there'll be a new Year Rep or not. I'm through with this crap and, let me tell you, haven't felt this good about myself in ages.
Bottom line:

I finally saw Twilight. Still not sure if I'll give it a proper review on MoRants, since I'm kind of pressed for time. Have already done a crossover Nostalgia Critic-style review for it anyway, I dread the upcoming editing. 2 hours of rants and cutting movie and sound clips *weeps*
Still busy with college. And this is what you get for reading almost zilch all semester, kids. I have a project due Monday, which I haven't even started and haven't even read the materials for. It's only 200 pages, I'll manage.
No "serious" PS work. Aside from the icons I posted a few days ago, I've only been using PS to scan and edit documents for my mom. I sorta got another scanner 2 days ago, which really helped (and using two scanners at the same time is badass). No time or inspiration for wallpapers or cards or anything of the like, though I am hoping to enter at least one e-card challenge in the near future c:
Can't wait for Eurovision! It's kind of a custom of mine to keep away from the songs until the final, so I can hear them all at once. Plus, I watch it with my mom, call it a way of bonding if you will c: I'm really looking forward to discovering more awesome songs and artists! I'm having doubts about Romania's entry - haven't heard the song itself but I'm not that keen on the band, and I'm more interested in other countries' entries -, but I'll be going into it with a neutral mindset anyway.
That's about it for now, I'm more or less a lurker again (see new title) but I'll be popping by from time to time to comment/fave/hug stuff c: Hoping everyone's doing fine, and good luck with exams if you're also going through this! ^_^

Yes, the title does sound stupid but it's a literal translation ^^" It's basically a week (Monday-Friday) when we welcome the young 'uns who're almost out of high school, to visit and see just what the college is about. It's quite a lot of work and there's a LOT of running around to be done. Oh boy, I just had to get involved.
All in all I'm not disappointed with it, it's a pretty fun experience. I was originally on the Online Graphics team but also joined the Field Team 'cause a few groupmates ditched Raluca because they suddenly wanted to attend classes instead of, y'know, doing what they signed up to do (traitors!). As in, parading the high schools and speaking to the minds of the future about why our college rocks and they should all flock to join it.
First day was...moderate: we couldn't speak to the highschoolers because the principal hadn't announced our arrival to anyone, even though we'd contacted her 5 days before coming. OK, so at least we got to give away stickers and duct-tape posters. Fun.
For the second (and last) time, we went to one of the most prestigious highschools in the country, where we had to wait for 3 other presentations to end before we could intervene =.= As in, wait from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., just sitting around and listening because the others were obviously better organized than us.
The first presentation was about some Dutch university; 'twas nothing groundbreaking. Then came one about a Romanian-American university, which was beyond boring: they brought an old teacher (the type that would ramble incessantly about their life for hours), who ruined whatever bit of charisma the main speaker had. And the last presentation was about safety in traffic - 'twas pretty entertaining, they brought a member of a local band (whom I never cared for, personally), but he had SO much charisma that it was mindbending. Anyone who can make people laugh at traffic accidents either has sociopaths for a public or is Satan himself.
Worst part is that this week was "Different Week" (or something like that, plagued by literal translation again), a week-long program running in grade and high schools which is meant to educate kids about culture and the likes. Me and other two girls went to visit the National Museum of Art on Wednesday and there were SO MANY HIGHSCHOOLERS. LAUGHING. MAKING STUPID JOKES. STARING AT ONLY PAINTINGS OF NAKED WOMEN. Sigh. If I were a guard there, I'd go insane after one day of dealing with them >_< As a consequence, 90% of this fair city's grade- and highschoolers were out and about instead of coming to school to sit their asses down and listen to us. And who could blame them, really?
And now you know why I haven't been around since February c:
Seriously, there were -10° Celsius outside yesterday afternoon and the trees are coated in a 1-2 cm thick layer of ice, so they make a creepy sound whenever the wind blows through the branches. Never mind not falling and breaking something on the ice, now 80% of the time I'm outside is spent on preparing to dodge falling trees =___= A tree from another block's garden fell yesterday and left the poor unfortunate souls without cable and Internet access *shudders at the thought*
Other than that, I have 3 exams tomorrow and the day after (yes, 3 exams in 2 days) and 300+ pages to read =.= Needless to say, I feel even more lazy than usual about it. But meh, once this is over, the biggest dilemma I'll have is choosing between Sims 3, Quake 4, Portal and Doom3 since, unfortunately, I can't play all of them at the same time.
I am a happy camper. I'm still not done replying to all the gifts and messages because I was even busier than before, running around for projects - and singing my lungs out with the girls after we got together yesterday (who wants to hear me sing "Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera? :D Recorded it a little while after the meme because for some reason I lurve recording myself now). After that, I get this:
