The Things You Learn...
First of all, I hope each and everyone one of you had a great Christmas. I got to spend it with the people I care about most so I had a fantastic day. Plus we also had totally amazing food. I didn't fix it but the ones who did... so tasty. And bes...I Can Has Cuddles?
It's been an interesting weekend. A stormfront that came in got my arthritis going so I had some rotten nights aching. Fortunately my flare ups tend to be short and it's already better. Anyway, I was browsing lolcats and came across something rather cute so I'm going to share it. I'm sure you all can guess who I thought of when I saw it. ;p
Battle Cry
For those of you who don't know about it (and those that do) I've been having fun playing D&D with a bunch of others here at theO. Getting together a couple of times a week for it has been terribly amusing.
I think I'll give you an idea by sharing a snippet from the game:
Selene Shri: (I thought Kei said it was my turn, I was gonna attack the orcs rushing where her and Will are.)
Katana: (I feel like pulling a Trip right now. "I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M SORRY".)
Selene Shri: (XD)

Kei: ((It's not your fault. Selene, take your turn.))
Allamorph: ((Ichigo: That and FOR CATBOYS))
Katana: (It's Trip's *brick'd*)
animepulse: "I'm Sorry! *thwack* "I'm Sorry!" *Thwack*
Blank: (*chuckles*)
Selene Shri: (you can have them finish first and then I'll go^^)

Such fun. These guys make me laugh a lot. XD

Because sometimes you need to...
... I am taking a break from theOtaku. I still plan on checking in every night and spending some time dealing with simple moderation work that comes up. I just don't plan on hanging out in chat or taking much time to read or keep up with people.
I just realized earlier that I have been online here nearly every day for more than moderation for around a year. I don't think that's a bad thing, after all watching The Thing with Shin and crew was great fun, but I do think I'm long overdue for some away time.
So I plan on vanishing till next week. The only exception is I may show up for D&D on Thursday and Saturday. Probably not Thursday though. I already let the DM know and it won't hurt me to miss it.
Anyway, we've got a great crew all around so I already know they'll keep things running smoothly. You might catch me on GW and perhaps AIM a bit, but we'll see. Have a good week everyone. :p
