News: DC Comics to Present more He-man adventures starting April 2013

So far, DC Comics has completed its run of its 2012 He-Man and The Masters of the Universe miniseries this week with issue no. 6 as well as releasing the miniseries' comic book one-shot prequel Masters of The Universe: The Origin of He-Man. Well, Masters of the Universe fans, mark your calendars for April 17 as that day will mark the launch of an ongoing comic book series with the same as the miniseries itself, and I have a feeling you'll be impressed as its premier issue will feature the return of He-Man's twin sister She-Ra, except this time, she's evil.

I'd say DC Comics picked a good time to celebrate MOTU's 30th anniversary last year, and this year is in fact the 30th anniverary of the 1983 animated He-Man and The Masters of The Unvierse T.V. series, though it's ironic that the show's sequel T.V. series She-Ra: Princess of Power did not included in the He-Man DVD boxset that was recently released to celebrate 30 years of Masters of The Universe in animated television (the set is indicated to only contain the 1983 He-Man series, The New Adventures of He-Man, and the 2002 animated He-Man and The Masters of The Universe series). If you'e interested in the new upcomin comic book series, I recommend to first visit your nearby comic store to pik up a copy of Masters of the Universe: The Origin of He-Man. As for me, I might later on the year search around for what adult collector's item MOTU action figures will be available so as to do my part in celebrating the 30th birthday of the 1983 He-Man cartoon series, which I am taking my time rewatching on Teletoon Retro, and the storytelling (in my opinion) still stands the test of time after all these years.
