If you're a fan of the 1975 British Sci-Fi T.V. series "Space: 1999" or are just someone wanting to get the know the classic series itself, here's some news. This year, the convention committee behind the convention BREAKAWAY (which was held in 1999) are in the planning stages for a 2012 "Space: 1999" convention event called "Alpha: 2012", which is scheduled to happenin Los Angelos on Sept. 7-9, 2012.
