(Ficlet - AKA A short story.)
Every night she rose from her grave, with a heart-rending look of pure sadness and regret on her face. Her eyes, although grey and lifeless, seemed as if they were about to let a great cascade of tears flow at any given moment. Tears for the man she once loved. The man she searched for so eagerly.
Why did she have to die so suddenly? She had not even told him that she loved him. Her heart ached with sadness at the thought of being without him. And so, her task was simple. She would rise every night from her resting place and search for him, no matter how long it took. Even if she was searching until the end of time.
