A note about why we chose these dates: We understand that this event will be in the middle of the school year for a lot of people, so we're giving a lot of lee-way for submission time as you barely have a month to draw it already. We wanted to leave some time for people to join as well though, so that's why we'll allow admissions until January 18th, 2013.
If you fail to post your wishlist by the week of the 18th, we'll send you a PM reminding you to post your wishlist. If you don't have it in by the 18th, we're sorry but we'll have to remove you from the list then! >.<
Remember to ask us via PM if you know you're going to have to post your gift early/later than the deadline period so your recipient doesn't freak out and we can let them know!

NOTE: This Secret Santa Event is only for drawings/fanart!
Hello everyone!! After much thought and deliberation with plenty of input from friends, my friend Ryuchu and I have decided to co-host a Valentine's Day SS event for fanart for 2013 as opposed to conflicting with the Christmas SS that was hosted this year. ^^ I don't think it's that common for there to be a Valentine's Day SS, but I think it'd be fun to see some Valentine's Day-themed art and have more love and sharing of art around theOtaku to start the year off!<3
Also, in regards to dates, we decided to give much more time for posting since it'll be taking place in the middle of the school year. Hopefully this works out for you all. >.<

So here's how it all works for those of you who are unfamiliar with Secret Santa events:
How It Works
Read the rules before you ask to join. Then PM me/Ryuchu or comment here on this World and we'll compile a list of all members that wish to participate. From there, we'll randomly partner up each person with someone they must draw for after all post their wishlists.
Each person participating in this Secret Santa event must DRAW a MINIMUM of ONE picture for their person by February 14th-28th, 2013.

Alrighty, so now without further ado, here are the rules! ^^ If you're too lazy to read the whole thing, please read the parts in bold at least. >.< Thank you!<3
The Rules
1)You MUST read the rules FIRST, then PM me/Ryuchu or comment this post if you want to join.
2)You must have your wishlist posted somewhere on one of your worlds by January 18th, 2013.Once you've posted up your wishlist, PM me/Ryuchu or comment here with a link to your Wishlist so we may post it up on this World.
3)You are required to give a MINIMUM of 3 options for your Secret Santa to choose from in your wishlist. This is so they'll have many options to choose from. However you are NOT required to draw ALL of the options, though you ARE required to draw ONE at the least.
Which reminds me PLEASE try to give DIVERSITY to the options you give. Like don't make all 3 options three different Naruto characters. Throw in some of your OCs/FCs or people from different animes etc.
4)Please take time on your gift and make it nice for your person! It'd be nice if you could do more than just a chibi(unless the person asks their Santa for a chibi, of course), but we won't have any sort of limitations on skill level or what you draw for this event. We DO expect, however, that you put your heart into your gift. They'll appreciate it, we promise!
5)Post your Secret Santa gift anytime between February 14th-28th, 2013. If you find that you'll have to post later than that, let us know so we can tell your gift-receiver so they won't freak out lol.
6)If you do not draw, you can't really participate in this, sorry! >.< THIS IS FOR DRAWINGS ONLY, not e-cards/wallpapers. This is to make it even for all participants.
7)You CAN do a black-and-white drawing, but it MUST be really quality work. We really do prefer color for this event, but we leave that up to the artist.
8)You MUST be able to draw humans. Knowing how to draw animals is an option, so don't worry about that. NO TRACING/REDRAWS/BASES- but using a ref(as long as it's not too noticeably referenced in your pic) is okay!
9)And finally, please promote this/invite friends! If we want to make this fun, the more the merrier!<3
Substitute Secret Santas: If you think you'll be able to make more than one gift in the event that someone drops out/can't draw a gift, let us know and we'll put you down as one!<3
We will allow an UNLIMITED number of participants for this event. So let me know if you're gonna join in! =) We'll be sending out invites to some people, but ANYONE can join!
