Oh yeah! Posting two days in a row!
How is it going you guys? Hope you are all doing alright.
So if you have been reading or following the posts in this world, you will know that from time to time I will occasionally drop a few sad faces and say "Still unemployed" Now before I say anything, dont fall off your rocker I still dont have a job, but finally, some place has been willing enough to at least call me back and give me phone interview and then set up a live interview today.
I will admit I was a bit nervous on the phone interview...and Im even more nervous about tue live interview...talking with strangers is not my strongest point...and answering questions about myself is hard for some reason! ...But I was totally good at it when I had to network with big wigs, explain myself to wealthy suit-wearing folk when they visited my high school and I had to learn how to act in a business formal and business casual setting...and I can do kick-ass presentations in front of people....shmer...
But I will just remember the basics!
>> Take a shower!
>> Brush teeth! (Pop a mint if brushing doesnt do any justice for your breath)
>> Comb hair!
>> Subtle make up (if you wear make up)
>> No gum!
>> Dress nice! (But not too formal, not too sexy and dont be sloppy)
>> No hats!
>> Small earrings
>> No annoying jewelry (bangles make so much noise)
>> Get there at least 10-15 minutes early
>> Turn your cellular device off! Or put it on silent!
>> Remember to breathe! (Take a deep breath)
>> Smile (even just a little bit)
>> Be honest
>> Dont give out too much information (They dont care if you have a baby-daddy in prison and another baby-daddy cutting your tires up and crap XD)
>> Eye contact!
>> Firm hand-shakes!
>> Say thank you after the interview is over!
