It has probably come to your attention that there have been some curious and vague comments here and there by a couple of staff members regarding disingenuous posts and reaching breaking points.
The internet is by definition very anonymous. Unless someone chooses otherwise, one can remain quite hidden and private on the web; people can also pretend to be things they aren’t.
In general, I don’t get into the private business of others. What people do with their own time and how they choose to present themselves to others isn’t my concern; so long no one’s getting hurt, then fine, whatever.
When the personal desires and the lies spill out to others and affect the larger community, though… that’s where enough is enough.
For several months we’ve kept an eye on one particular member who has crossed this line: TwoFacedLullaby, formerly Kohaku-Dono, formerly ProtectYourNuts. She has broken several rules, both technical and social, here at this site. She has broken the trust of members, both staff and non-staff. She continues to deny responsibility of these lies behind even more lies.
I understand probably several members will think I’m being unfair or unnecessarily cruel to her to continue with these accusations. And it’s true, I’ve no written confessions nor have I any magic bullets to explain all of this. All I can do is explain my reasons and evidence towards these reasons. As peers, I’ll allow you to make sense of the facts and to choose to agree or disagree with my conclusions.
