Welcome to my world.

I'm SomeGuy, 26 years old, residing in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I've studied English Literature, Chinese Martial Arts, and am currently pursuing careers in writing - possibly even in the anime industry itself.

And I work for this site.

And you should be watching Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad.
Or watching Ranma 1/2.
Or learning about the Shinsengumi.
Or planning to come to Anime Evolution in Vancouver this June.

Here at the "Smallville" page, I have my personal blog where I'll post about anything and everything. If ya need me or otherwise need to know anything from/about me, here's where I'll be.

If you're really looking for my more professional, site-type stuff, you wanna head over my "Metropolis" world.

Love. Freaking. Castle.

Castle's on right now. Halloween episode.

Episode opens with Castle-putting-on-costume-montage.

Red shirt. Tight pants. Boots. Revolver. BROWN LONGCOAT.

Alexis: "What is that?"
Castle: "This? This is, a.... space cowboy."
Alexis: "Again? You wore that costume five years ago."
Castle: "...I like this costume..."

See, this is why we love Nathan Fillion. Also, there was a Buffy reference afterwards. It just makes sense.

Freakin' love this show . . .

EDIT: Found a sneak picture from the set:

Space cowboy indeed . . . . .

Love At First Episode . . .

I've officially decided that Nathan Fillion is a performer who I would watch in anything.

Case in point, I bought season one of Castle on Wednesday after I sold a set to a woman on Tuesday. I had never seen an episode of it in my life, and of the half I did see, I was on the computer so I wasn't really paying attention.

One episode later, I can already say I love this show. I guess I'll add Castle to my regular television this year.

Shiny.

EDIT: Episode 9, about a child kidnapper . . . and I see Detective Kate Beckett holding the exact same big green Ikea coffee mug that I have.

I think I have a new favourite show for 2010. Fuck yeah.
