Great!!
I saw "Twilight" today and IT'S AWESOME!! I DID find some things that didn't do well in the movie and should have been there but you can't be perfect. I believe that it was following the lines of "The Golden Compass" a little bit only because you can get a better idea of the movie if you read the book. Believe me, it's nothing like the "Harry Potter" series, where you can just watch the movies and know exactly what's going on (referring to "The Golden Compass"). Although "Twilight" was pretty easy to understand even if you haven't read the book yet. I'm gonna' see it again with my mother since I saw it today with a couple of my friends and she wants to see it. Half the time I didn't understand what was happening because I didn't remember a lot of parts from the book that were in the movie. We also made fun of the girl that played as Bella by observing that she keeps her mouth at least halfway open throughout most of the movie and saying that she's trying to imitate a Venus Flytrap. Then my friend started nitpicking by pointing out the smallest things and comparing them to the book. I kinda' felt like smacking her upside the head every time she pointed something like that out. I swear, there IS such a thing as TOO OBSERVANT. Oh, and I thought the movie started off too slow and then went by too fast. That's just my opinion, though. Hell, I might start becoming a "Twilight" fan again all because of the movie. <_<
My birthday is in a week, now. That's right, everyone! I'm gonna' be fourteen whole years old! WHOO!! I can't believe my mother had to remind me of it, too. XD
If you have read Hunter's description (you can find it in my Gallery within a picture labeled "Hunter") then you would probably know that there is a manga made by me mentioned in it. Well, that manga got cut and was gonna' stay that way because I found the idea stupid and very last-minute. I got a comment on Hunter's picture on deviantART, though, that encouraged the manga to be released. So with about thirty seconds of consideration, I thought that I could tweak it just a little and star Hunter in not only the manga "In Their Eyes", but in the one noted in his description. Hunter is, as a matter of fact, my favorite character out of "In Their Eyes". ;)
I'm gonna' go to my relatives' houses tomorrow and not return until the day after. That means I won't be back until maybe Sunday afternoon. Not that it really matters seeing as how I barely interact with any of my online friends aside from commenting on their art and Posts. ^^;

Good?
Most of my friends have already seen "Twilight" by now, and I hate them for that. What's worse is that they're all saying that it's a great movie! Even one of my hater friends says that it's a great movie! Aww, I guess I'll have no choice but to see it. I probably will end up seeing it just so I can try to prove them wrong about the movie but I doubt I will, somehow... ><
In other news, animal cruelty in China? Not only China but in Europe and North America as well. I was checking my e-mail and saw this link, starring Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails as he spoke out against skinning animals for their fur (mainly talking about cats and dogs). This video may be shocking to you, so don't watch this if you're squeamish.

I would much rather have this madness stop. People are belittling animals and basically saying that we're better than them by doing this. I believe that one day we'll all be skinned alive by animals one day.

I made a banner for my manga. You'll see it just about everywhere: deviantART, theOtaku, Gaia Online, and whatever else I can remember. Be searching for it along with the new pages to my manga itself. ^^ The link to my manga will be below...

Twilight
Okay, so I just want to know what's up with the sudden "Twilight" epidemic. I've read "Twilight" and I'm WAY too lazy to finish the last five chapters I have left of "New Moon". I got the first book for Christmas last year. I was a little skeptical about reading it but a few boys I knew said that it was a good book (yeah, my guy friends read it first in my school XD) so I read it. I found the style of writing very fascinating and I was totally addicted to the first book. Once the second book came into my possession, I was almost in eighth grade (which is where I am now). I read the first few chapters and got into it again... Then it started slowing down. I personally like slow books, I really do (probably the reason why I enjoyed "Kira-Kira" so much) but this book just got so slow that it became boring. I read another chapter today and I barely even remember what happened in the story. My friend Arya skipped about half the book, reading only the first and last parts of it and said that she still knew what was going in throughout the entire story plot (I still wanna' kill her for skipping over so many chapters of a book, though). Most of my friends who have read "Twilight" are done with all of the books (including my mother). I'm still reading "New Moon". -_-
I'm sure you've all heard about the movie coming out and all. Some of my friends are really excited about it while some of my other friends just want the characters of the movie to burn in Hell. I personally don't care too much for the movie, I don't even know if I want to see it or not what with the recent disappointment in "The Golden Compass"'s movie. But all of the hardcore fan girls are just freaking out about it so much that it just makes me want to slap them all. Hell, I've even heard that one of the girls is gonna' see the midnight release here! Ugh, my mother wouldn't let me do that even if I was seventeen and about to move out! <_<
Anyways, I'm sure that you guys have ALSO heard about the new book coming out by Stephenie Meyer called "Midnight Sun". If you haven't then it's pretty much the "Twilight" series in the eyes of Edward Cullen instead of Isabella Swan. Back on topic of "Twilight", I have few insults to say about this series...
My friend and I were talking about the series just the other day and she said that after reading the first book, she found so many flaws in it that she just decided to quit reading the series then and there. I asked her about them and she said that the plot was really simple, it's just that it's all covered up by fancy words and parts that don't need to even be there. She described the plot as follows...
Here is girl.
Here is vampire.
Girl meets vampire.
Girl and vampire fall in love.
Vampire breaks up with girl.
Girl is sad.
Girl tries to get vampire back.
Girl succeeds!
Girl and vampire live happily ever after...
Or something like that... Now, my friend also said that covering a sappy romance up with large words that we just so happen to know seems to make the book a lot more amusing. Not for her! She replies to it by saying that writing down "And as I let go of the handles, racing down the steep hill at such a raging velocity that the wind whipped through my hair, stinging my face painfully, I finally felt free." is the same thing as trying to say, "Look, Ma! No hands!" And I'll bet that if Stephen King wrote the "Twilight" series in his own style then there would hardly be a teenage soul worrying about either the book or the movie.
That's all I have to say about the "Twilight" series! Hope I didn't offend anyone but flames are welcome... They amuse me...

Contacts
I got a pair of contacts yesterday because I wanted to get used to them before I joined color guard for high school next year. My friend said that I should wear them for color guard because if I wear my glasses then I'll be likely enough to dent the arms of my glasses inward after accidentally hitting them with my flag so many times. I was supposed to have those two contacts for a week before going back to the eye doctor for a checkup on them. Turns out that I lost my right contact after the second day of wearing them. I'm just not used to taking them out yet. Putting them in is easier than I thought it would be, but it's the exact opposite when it comes to taking them out. Ugh, I looked all around the area where my contact fell but I just couldn't find it. Worse is that it's at my friends house, which I'm not at anymore. I don't guess I'm cut out for contacts, but it's not like I have a choice, anyways. >< Hell, I can't even remember to change the solution in my carrier (which I still haven't done in fear that I'll lose my left contact). Well, at least I still have my glasses. I'm so embarrassed about losing it, too. My mother didn't seem to happy about it and that only made me even more shameful for losing it. She said that she'd call the eye doctor on Monday and see what she can do about it. JUST TELL THEM THAT THEY WORK AND GET ME ANOTHER PAIR!!! ><
Hey you! Yeah, you with the face! Remember that Soloo is taking up your requests until Christmas day! She needs your help in order for these requests to take place! So hurry your lazy butts up!!
