Welcome to the Fox's Den, the personal blog of the artist, snow fox.

I've been around here with theOtaku since before it was even an anime website, and officially on myOtaku since 2003-08-01, occasionally contributing to the network in a (humble, yet) high-profile way. The new Version Vibrant Spikey is my creation, for instance. Please feel free to ask me any questions about Art of Otaku as well, as I was one of the contributing co-authors of that publication.
Hope you enjoy your stay, thanks for visiting!
I think... I'll share a daytime Blue Mountains pic today.
Other than that, nothing much new to report... classes are going along well. I have to go and buy photopaper and a 35mm camera. Yes indeed.

How about a wildlife photo for today? I haven't looked up these birds, to see what they're called... but you don't find them in the suburbs. I shot this particular photo on our roadtrip, in Barington Tops, but I also saw several of these birds when I went bushwalking last Saturday. They always come in pairs, the other one is just out of frame to the left...

A picture's worth a thousand words, right? Well, I don't have time for a thousand words, so have a picture. I decided to post a picture of the city, for a change. I took it at sunrise, from the balcony at the lodge I'm staying at.

You've come to the right place, for your daily dose of Australia...
Here's another from the Blue Mountains, just one of the many. Be assured, there are more to come
For now, I'm going bush! Hiking, that is... catch you later!

Last week, during Easter Break, I also managed to get out to the Blue Mountains. I went with the Sydney Uni PhotoSoc, so there was lots of picture-taking going on. It was beautiful, but we only scratched the surface. The Blue Mountains is a very large, sprawling area. There are trails that you can spend 6 days hiking. And probably more, if you're a little crazy enthusiastic. We didn't really do any hiking, we just drove around to several of the different lookouts. What more can you do in a day?
Probably my favorite lookout was Cahill's Lookout. It was just a stop by the side of the road, not so big and tourist-y as some of the others. You walked down a few steps, and then a great valley opened in front of you. We were there for sunset, and it was just our little group of photographers. It was gorgeous.
