Relationship Status: Single / Don't care
Here lately, I've come to discover, it doesn't matter whether I get married or not. It doesn't even matter if I stay single. Thing is, I may or may not be ready for it. What's important is being content with what you have.
I have a lot of favorite anime, but a few of them include: Code Geass, Trigun, Fullmetal Alchemist and Fairy Tail.
Favorite music: rock / hard rock / heavy metal, pop - I like things that people have said doesn't fit me.
My all time favorite band is the old Guns N' Roses. The new one sucked. End of story.

Why?

Why can't I just get a decent paying job and a forty-hour work week? That's all I want. Is that really so much to ask? Apparently, it is. I thought about going back to school and doing computer information technology, but honestly, it sounds like it wouldn't be much better than the situation I'm in now. I was going to apply for a job, and then guess what? I make it to like the second step and then it comes up with a page that doesn't have a next button, arrow button or anything. It just stops with a bunch of empty space. Now, after I get off from work tomorrow, I'll have to go down to the unemployment office and hope that guy I talked to or someone from the place I was applying to is there and see if I can fill out the application there, which could take like an hour or more to do. I know I'll have to suck it up and do it, it's just I was hoping to be able to fill out the application today before going to bed. Oh well... Oh, and I seriously hope it's not varying, crazy shifts like I have now. I really don't want that if I can keep from it. I'd like to have a set schedule. My boyfriend says it's varying shifts, but that guy said it's a set schedule. However, finding a forty hour job with a set schedule is really difficult, especially when you live in an area where the majority of jobs are in retail, grocery or restaurants. I had a chance at another job, but we figured driving expenses and cost of living, and it wouldn't work out. My paycheck would be a hare more than what I'm making now. I know I don't have it as bad as others, but really... why...?
Life sucks and affording to live in it is ridiculous. Unless you're making $12 or better an hour, it doesn't really help much.

Demons

Just wanted to post this here:

Lame

Well, I had a look on my high school graduating class's page, and I have the lamest job of anybody on there. I work hard, and yet, it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Why? Why am I still stuck going nowhere? Even with the economy, I seem to be the only one not achieving anything. Every time I apply for a job, I'm always turned down. Is there something about me? I don't even know what I want to do. All I know is that I want a full time job. I am thinking of going to school again and doing something to do with computers like what my nephew is doing because he said his teacher will make sure to get them a paid internship, but other than that? I have no real plan. I don't exactly have any skills, and I'm not really well-connected. I want to feel successful, which I don't feel at all.

Doctor Who: Invasion of the Eels

January 2014. It was especially cold and gray, kind of lifeless and dull. Nothing particularly unusual about the day at all. There was nothing in the sky or upon the ground that would suggest out of the ordinary, nothing at all. However, there was one lonely woman sitting on a park bench all alone, writing a story in her black notebook. She seemed quite serious and focused as her pink glasses slid to the end of her nose and her pen scratched and scribbled on the page. She was just an ordinary young woman who worked as a cashier at a large retail store. Every day was the same. People would buy groceries, clothes, toys, electronics and games. Babies and children would cry and scream, customers would yell at her, and she'd go home. On Sundays, she would go to church to worship and this would pretty much sum up her life. It was stuck on repeat. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Bland, boring, empty. It never changed until she decided to write. That day, that ordinary day, would turn her life upside down and her own story would be rewritten.

Allison continued to write as if nothing was about to happen, but as her black ink pen scribbled across the page and her brown, curly hair swayed in the breeze, bright, hot, blue lasers shot at her! What on Earth? It was suddenly as if the story she was writing was coming to life and it had jumped right off the page! Allison closed her notebook with the pen still stuck inside and just started running. She just ran forward, not in any particular direction. Allison's navy blue military-style jacket flapped in the breeze as her feet flew as fast as they could carry her. Bang! Boom! Sizzle! The lasers continued their blitz on the young woman. She didn't even bother to look back and see the foul creatures that were firing at her. She didn't even look up at the sky, so naturally, she didn't see the blue box spinning, spiraling and falling to the ground. In fact, the lady was so focused on evading the bright blue lasers that when the big blue box crashed to the earth with a loud thud and a man stepped out, she nearly collided with him. "Whoa! Hold on a minute! Oi!" He called out to her. The man grabbed a hold of her upper arms just below her shoulders and stopped her momentum. "Hello. That's better. Where are you going in such a hurry?" He questioned Allison as if he didn't notice the lasers being fired at her. She replied, "What?! You didn't see the lasers? Sorry, I'm busy. People are trying to kill me, but I don't even know why. I was just writing! Is it a crime to sit in the park and write about a time traveler and aliens?" It was at that moment that the young woman looked at the man and the blue box behind him. Her eyes traveled up his legs and torso until they finally met his big brown eyes. He was wearing white Converses, a pin-stripe suit and a tie with some sort of swirly pattern. Over his suit, he wore a tan colored long coat almost like a trench coat or something. He moved Allison in time for another shower of lasers. Without asking anything, the man grabbed her by the hand and ran to his box, pulling her along.

As they entered, Allison got a chance to look for a brief moment and realized it said "police box". A smile crept across her lips. This was the very man she had been writing about. This man that had spiraled down to Earth in his blue box was the lord of time himself, a man called The Doctor. In fact, he introduced himself as such. "Whew, that was close! Hello. I'm The Doctor. This is my TARDIS- time and relative dimension in space- and you're safe here. Those were Eels if you must know. No, they're not like the eels that live in the bottom of your ocean. They are an alien species from the planet Eigon. Now, are you alright? Let me make sure you're not injured. Also, this is very important. Did they touch you? One touch from an eel could mess up the electrical impulses in your body. When I crashed, I only saw you running, but I don't know if you had any physical contact with them before I goth there." The Doctor's face was dead serious as he used his sonic screwdriver to scan her for injuries. Allison responded with a soft, shy voice, "No. I didn't come into contact with one, but they were shooting at me. No idea why. I was sitting there minding my own business and the next thing I know, I'm getting shot at. What? They don't like some nerdy human girl writing about aliens or you? I'm nothing special. I'm just a cashier." She paused for a moment as she thought about the Eels still being on Earth. Then, she had to ask, "Aren't we going back out there to stop them? Personally, I'd like to know what they have against me. Now, what can we do? We know they can disrupt electrical impulses in the human body if they touch you. Now, unless I'm wrong, this means they are electrically charged. But then why do they need lasers? Unless those weren't laser guns. Uh... sorry... maybe I've just gone off on my own tangent and I'm just way off in left field. The Doctor smiled. He was impressed with her answer. In fact, she was correct. He had a cheery tone of voice when he told her, "No, no. You're exactly right! The polarity of the electric charge in their bodies is much stronger than yours. That much power would short circuit you. Also, just as you said, those weren't laser guns. Those guns allow them to concentrate the currents of electricity in their bodies and directs it into their gun. What they were firing at you was concentrated electricity. It basically works like a laser but much more deadly. You're very lucky you quite literally almost ran into me. It could've killed you. Hold on and let me get my wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff and we'll stop them."

Immediately, The Doctor pulled out something box shaped like some sort of trap and walked out of the TARDIS. Allison follwed close behind him. They were standing face-to-face with the Eels. One Eel had a gun point at The Doctor's head and one Eel had a gun pointed at Allison's chest. They spoke in Eelian, but the TARDIS allowed them to understand in English. When The Doctor and Allison would reply, it would be in Eelian, but they would hear it as English. "Ha, Doctor, what do you think you're going to do? We have guns pointed at both of you. Once we pull the trigger, you're both going to die. Once we take you out, we'll take this planet for our own. Eigon was destroyed in the time war. It's your fault they're dead! Now, we'll take over the one planet most precious to you other than Gallifrey! First, we'll shoot your companion, then after making you watch her die, we'll shoot you. The last of the time lords will die and all he holds dear will be taken from him! Kneel time lord!" The Doctor did as they instructed and winked at Allison. It honestly didn't matter whether he was standing or not. He would be able to trap the concentrated electrical current.

The Eel pointing the gun at Allison fired a shot, but The Doctor released the trap and threw it into the air. The trap caught the electric current and before it could fall to the earth, Allison caught the trap. The Doctor smiled and stood on his feet. "Ha! I win! If I can do it once, I can do it again! I could shoot enough of it at you to paralyze you but not kill you, or I could tell you to turn around and leave this planet and never return. You are powerless before me. Want to test your luck? Go ahead. Try it. I know a few planets with environments similar to Eigon, but trust me, you are not coming back to Earth. What all of you fail to remember is that Earth is protected. I am a lord of time! Did you honestly think by threatening to kill my companion in front of me and then kill me, it would make me give up? Please... As if. I'll set the coordinates and you leave in peace." With that, The Doctor nonchalantly walked over to their space ship and and soniced it. The space ship moaned and hummed before it vanished into the outer reaches of space. The Eels had already fled into it. The Doctor, with his hands in his pockets walked back over to Allison. "They look like the eels in your oceans but with teeth and they have hands and feet. They're about the same height as most normal humans. Now, I didn't ask but I think I know why they were interested into a young cashier writing about aliens in the park. You brought them here. See, the Eels are psychic like me, but nowhere near as good and they got into your subconscious through the electrical impulses in your brain." The Doctor took the black notebook out of her hands and found the pages where she wrote about the Eels. "Now, they shot at you because you were writing about me and they needed to use a human's psychic energy to draw me here. It's why the TARDIS crashed. Ha, they can't control it like me. I'm better and smarter." At that moment, The Doctor remembered the cashier from the park had not introduced herself. He politely asked her name. "I'm Allison Ross." The Doctor looked around and stated, "We're not in England. I don't think. This is America isn't it?" Allison confirmed and further explained, "Yes, we're in Tennessee."

*This is all I have so far. I'd like opinions. I know I need to describe my aliens better, and I'll need to describe the planets in great detail.*

It's All Good

Hah, so here I was thinking it might not work, and you know what? We talked about what to do about our date instead and came up with going to a matinee on Tuesday. Ooh, and I had a great Valentine's Day today! I got flowers! :D I knew I was getting them before hand, but when I walked in, I found a big, long box, and I couldn't help but get excited. We were putting the roses in the vase, and my dad said he thought it was two dozen. Two dozen roses! Oh, and he put in a card with a personal message. <3 I got him something too, but he will have to wait until Tuesday. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, but I got a nice voice message today telling me to have a happy Valentine's Day and a good day at work. So, maybe I was wrong, and it's all good.
