Yaoi is [very] important in shojo manga
yay_yaoi,and vampirebatworld are two of the best worlds to ever go to. Why? it's all about the yaoi!! Yaoi means "Boy's Love" in Japanese and yaoi is for girls ONLY to read. If you are not interested in these two worlds, find other worlds. Anyway, Yaoi and shonen-ai does sometimes play a part in shojo manga. For example, Yami no matsui, the manga is part shojo since Viz media licensed it.
Bamboo Blade
Bamboo Blade manga is a sports themed manga. It has alot to do with Kendo and girls kicking butt. Yen Press has licensed it and is already released in May 2009. This manga is finally in english.
