Hey, ShikamaruRocks, here. How ya doin'?

I have another world. One called "Shika's Busy-ish Nook" that contains less random stuff than you'll find here. For the most part. I'll leave all the official stuff that's on here though, but all new official stuff will be there.

I AM A GIRL. So many people think I'm a dude, but I'm not. I promise.

Soooo, let's get on with it, shall we?

Most of these are in no particular order...

Favorite Manga: Fruits Basket, Saiyuki, Saiyuki Reload, DNAngel, Prince of Tennis, Ranma 1/2, Naruto, Bleach, Trigun, Gothic Sports, Kare Kano, One Piece, Rave Master, Nana, PeaceMaker Kurogane, Fullmetal Alchemist, Nosatsu Junkie, HanaKimi, PearlPink, Ouran High School Host Club, Drama Con, etc.

Favorite Anime: Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Peacemaker Kurogane, Bleach, DNAngel, Fruits Basket, TekkonKinkreet, Death Note, Read or Die, Saiyuki, Mushi-shi, BECK, Avatar (it counts!!! grrrr....), Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, also etc.

Music Peeps: YellowCard, Death Cab for Cutie, Snowpatrol, A Fire Inside, The Used, Three Days Grace, Seether, Orange Range, My Chemical Romance, Hoobastank, BECK (Mangolian Chop Squad), Muse, The Pillows, Plain White T's, Angels and Airwaves, Flaming Lips, Bump of Chicken, and!!! The Jonas Brothers (my guilty pleasure)

I love cooking, drawing, reading (mostly manga but novels are wicked awesome too. I just don't have the time nor stamina for novels anymore...), knitting, watching my brother play Zelda games (lol), and skateboarding, though I fail epicly at it.

Toodles!!

Saying Bye to the Parental Units

My mom is freaking out royally about us going to Japan.

So, I am going to leave this note, and a little bin full of cotton balls on the table when we are going to the airport. Hopefully, she'll notice it when she goes back home.

Here's the note thing (with our real names on it. Le Gasp!!)

So, I guess we're actually going to Japan. Man.....

Anywho, this is being dual-posted. Here, and in my new world all about our trip to Japan called "When In Japan...". Feel free to check out that world, too!

I'm off to finish packing now, so, toodles!!!

Shia Labeouf, Japan, and Crappy Days at Work

I wanted to kill everyone in the world today. I wanted to stand up on the counter at my place of employment, tell everyone to shove it, and run screaming from the building.

Now, on that happy note:

Oh emu jiiii, man. I'm going to Japan in under 8 days. Teh sweetness.

Shia Labeouf is a beautiful boy and I want to glomp him. Eagle Eye was a very intense but crazy wicked awesome movie. Maybe an action-suspense-thriller was not the wisest choice of entertainment on my part to end an already retardedly stressful day at work. Ah well.

Look at the reverse order as opposed to the title of the post. How do you like THEM apples?

*slaps face then crawls off to bed, crying*

Loves Ya!

Yes, I am alive.

But only barely. The same could be said about my general state of only simi-consiousness.

I'm working a lot, mostly opening the cafe so I have morning to afternoon shifts. I don't even get in bed until after 11:30 on most nights. Ugh.

Anywaaaaaay. I love my job^^ Not only I'm I making money so I can actually go to Japan this October (for almost a whole month! DUDE!!) but I really enjoy the work. Sometimes it's really stressful when a ton of guests come in at once, but it's really awesome.

Not to mention, I get 33% percent off of everything in my favorite store, so that's pretty sweet.

Just wanted to let yall know I'm not ignoring theO or anything, I'm just very busy. Maybe in a few days (I have Saturday and Monday off) I will post a picture or something. If I get around to scanning it and cleaning it up and what not. lol. Also, our scanner is being really dumb, so yeah.

Look'it the cute-ness!! lol

Take it easy^^

Employment: It's a Beautiful Thing

So, my interview that I thought was simi-crappy apparently was a success! I have been hired at my favorite book store in the Cafe. Yes!!!!!

I would love to tell you all how excited I am (which I think would be obvious if you could see me bouncing up and down and screaming like I am right now) but I am going to my Grandmother's house with my mom and dad until tomorrow when I have my first bout of training (the next one is one Saturday).

Anyhoooooo, I have to go pack.

I love you all!!!!!! (because I'm in such a happy mood. lol)

Toodles!!!! I'll tell you how my training goes!!

Mega Tokyo meets Beck? Employment, anyone?

I've started a new little pass-time of sorts. I'm going to create a little comic where in every page is stand alone in a way, yet still part of one story. Thus we understand the Mega Tokyo reference.

Also, it's about a band (the BECK part is making sense now). How they met, what they play, how they get along, yadda, yadda, yadda. This is based off of the band TwistedCyberChick and I wish we could have. However, pretty much the only similarities are 1: the name of the band, and 2: the drummers stagename.

Here's the very rough copy of part of the cover (which just so happens to double as the cover for their debut album^^).

This will be touched up later. I colored it with sharpies. lol. Also, I had to take a picture of it with my cellphone because our scanner wouldn't work. Errrrrg.

Anywho, this won't be posted on theO for a while, at least until I have around 10 pages done. So don't hold your breath or anything (not that you were planning on it.)

Now, this brings us to the topic of employment mentioned in the title of this post.

At 3:30 today I have my long awaited job interview at Borders Books, Music, and Cafe after having applied 3 times. haha. Anywhoo, I'm guessing I'll post tomorrow about how the interview went.

Talk to yall later!

Toodles!
