i hope you had fun at the convention! i wish i could go, since i've never actually been to one before. ; ; (my dad told me about a convention in d.c. that i would have gone to, except he gave me the wrong date and i didn't find out until it was too late)

Yeah, well. Stuff happened. None of it was due to me though, honestly. Apparently she was leading a double life. All of her family and the friends she'd had since birth thought she was one person but apparently for the past 6 years or so she's been someone completely else at school (I never got to go to school with her. Different school boundaries, and whatnot). So, she finally left her old (and apparently fake) life with me, her parents and everybody else who's loved and taken care of her since she was tiny to live with her boyfriend she'd had for 2 years and never bothered to mention to anyone. I haven't seen her since before she left her house and that was just over a year ago.
You know. Stuff happens.
Are you sorry you mentioned it yet?
Oh, and you can't tell I'm still upset about it or anything right? I mean, it's not like it's obvious or something. There's no way I could possibly miss her or feel betrayed or any mushy, sentimental crap like that, right?
I know! It's awful! Apparently he's doing pretty good but they don't want him to push himself, and that's exactly what Greg always does at cons. He loves pleasing people.
And, yeah. I sooooo got to have a little "private-esk" talk with Chris Patton. It's great having a friend be in charge of the guests at a con xD He was really awesome, but Chuck Hubert (whom we knew nothing of prior to the con, as Twisted said in her comment) was at least equally as amazing. Go figure.
It's tragic that he wasn't there, but the con was a blast nonetheless. Woulda thunkit that Chuck Hubert, someone I hadn't known anything about, took the cake.
