I have another world. One called "Shika's Busy-ish Nook" that contains less random stuff than you'll find here. For the most part. I'll leave all the official stuff that's on here though, but all new official stuff will be there.

I love cooking, drawing, reading (mostly manga but novels are wicked awesome too. I just don't have the time nor stamina for novels as much anymore...though I have been working my way back in. lol), knitting, watching my brother play Zelda/Metroid games (lol), and skateboarding, though I fail epicly at it.

Three Weeks From Today

Three weeks from today I will be in Japan.

Don't that just make you jealous?

I will be in Japan longer than the amount of time I have left to wait before being in Japan.

Don't that just make you want to scream out of envy?

I have to go to work right now so I can make the money to go to Japan in three weeks and make you all want to kill me.

So, I finally decided to start posting my little comic I'm writing/drawing.

Too bad it's totally not working.

It is possible that the cover page will show up soon. I think I managed to post that. However, the stupid site isn't letting me add another page. It says "You Must Upload a Document" or something like that every time I select the file and push the little "Share Your Masterpiece" button.

I think I want to kill something.....

So, if anybody has any ideas that may help me, feel free to share^^

Other than that, everything's going OK in Twisted and my lives. I work a lot. Sometimes I sleep. We bought our plane tickets to fly to Japan last Tuesday. I'm wicked stoked.

Yes, I am alive.

But only barely. The same could be said about my general state of only simi-consiousness.

I'm working a lot, mostly opening the cafe so I have morning to afternoon shifts. I don't even get in bed until after 11:30 on most nights. Ugh.

Anywaaaaaay. I love my job^^ Not only I'm I making money so I can actually go to Japan this October (for almost a whole month! DUDE!!) but I really enjoy the work. Sometimes it's really stressful when a ton of guests come in at once, but it's really awesome.

Not to mention, I get 33% percent off of everything in my favorite store, so that's pretty sweet.

Just wanted to let yall know I'm not ignoring theO or anything, I'm just very busy. Maybe in a few days (I have Saturday and Monday off) I will post a picture or something. If I get around to scanning it and cleaning it up and what not. lol. Also, our scanner is being really dumb, so yeah.

I have to make drinks for HOW many people?

So, my job is awesome. I love it. I don't actually know how to do anything yet (lol) but it still rocks. I love my manager. He's amazing. His name's Joe. It's pretty funny because when something's going wrong I always say "Oh no, Jo-jo!" so I had to tell him I'm not referencing him when I say that. lol.

Acutally, I know how to grind and brew coffee, but that's about it. Oh, and how to clean dishes. lol.

Anyhoo, tomorrow apparently I'm going to finally be trained on how to mix drinks and use the espresso machine because I have to make a drink for every employee that's in the building. Yay!

......So not cool. I'm gonna pee myself.

Well, I have to be at work at 9 am so I'm gonna try to sign out early tonight. Get in bed and be asleep before Twisted comes in and starts making awful type-y sounds and all that.

Employment: It's a Beautiful Thing

So, my interview that I thought was simi-crappy apparently was a success! I have been hired at my favorite book store in the Cafe. Yes!!!!!

I would love to tell you all how excited I am (which I think would be obvious if you could see me bouncing up and down and screaming like I am right now) but I am going to my Grandmother's house with my mom and dad until tomorrow when I have my first bout of training (the next one is one Saturday).

Anyhoooooo, I have to go pack.
