Nice new camera! The only reason I prefer mine though is because it has the extensive lens and flash so you can get effects with lighting and microlens and stuff. I know you're going to have fun with your new camera though and glad you finally got it!!
I'm very happy to hear about your aunt and I wish her the best of luck in surgery. She is a fighter. It's people like her that deserve the best chances in life. That stuff with your Mum is scary. I'm glad to hear she's doing alright though. My mum freaks when she hears about the wildfires. She has family living in southern California. I guess I can understand her fear. Tell your mum to be careful. Shouldn't they give the employees masks though? What with the pollution and ash everywhere, it's only obvious that the employers should look into safety wear for their workers.
Anyhoo, I'm actually saving up for my camera. I started doing photography a few years ago but I've been using a shitty camera for it. I'm trying to get my hands on the new Nikon D60. That one is worth a pretty penny. You were lucky to find a good one so cheap. Lol. I can't wait to see what that pretty head comes up with next.
And, unforunately, no, I don't have a facebook. Only myspace and theOtaku. I'm not a huge fan of creating multiple personal profiles. Sorry loves.

Your Aunt is such a fighter, go her~~ And I'm glad your mom is ok, my mom works in a factory thing, where they make tools and the conditions there are soo bad, I worry a lot if my mom is ok working there. They make you work holidays...HOLIDAYS!!! Like during July 4th they made my mom work!! I hate that place with a passion, but my mom doesn't want to quit so, I dunno what to do...
I'm really glad that your aunt is staying so positive during this time. She sounds like a really strong woman, and I'm glad that the two of you were able to have a nice talk. Yeah, it's nice to be able to poor out your problems to someone who understands. It's like lifting the burden, ne? Hopefully July 1st will bring some good new to you all!
Oh my!! I'm glad that your mom is doing much better! Ugh..she must have been in lots of pain for her to go into the emergency room. I had heard about the fires on the news but I didn't know if it would after you or not.
