You guys can probably already guess what this is about lol...
But in any case, I want to start off by saying, I'm really sorry I can't reply/comment on things because ever since I had to update my Windows Service Pack (which automatically comes with the IE9 update...) I haven't been able to open my comment boxes (they just open as separate pages), so it doesn't work.
But in any case, I just wanted to say..
Ugh I know a lot of you are probably kinda tired of hearing about this, but lately I just haven't had much drive to come here anymore.. a lot of my friends have either moved on to DA or other sites or just plain don't come on and the few that do are hardly active here..
It's just sad because I feel like theO has become a lot more unfriendly these days and that even shows in like ALL of the sections, not just the Fanart section. There are practically NO comments at ALL on anything I see anymore, and on top of that you barely even need 10-15 votes to make it into the top 8 on the front page now and sometimes excellent art gets like 30 votes at most and it's just saddening... there isn't a whole lot of interaction these days(or at least, I haven't been around for much of it).
I'll always have my account at this place because it was my first art community home and I'm attached to it but just all of these changes kind of make me not want to stay anymore...and the unfriendliness especially, I just hear about it so often from friends now. I've been hanging out at DA more because of it, but to be honest I kinda feel like theO and DA are becoming so similar now(because in my opinion, DA isn't really the most friendly place either).
I just miss the old theOtaku so much. I'll be drawing some of my older characters such as Riiya and maybe even Sorai to submit here, but for now I'll mostly be just submitting until comments work for me again, sorry >.<
In other news, I saw the new Harry Potter movie today and the new Pooh movie last weekend and I LOVEDDDDD HP but not so much the Pooh movie xD
I hope no one is mad about this haha, I'm still gonna be here! Just..well I haven't had much motivation to be around so much lately, and I'm trying my best to be strong about it.
