I'm sorry for my absence haha. It's been a really busy first week of college and I apologize for not having told you all about it sooner.
I um...kinda have a lot of things going around in my head. But I'm trying to stay calm, be patient and sort it all out. I thought I'd also let you all know that I'm having a wonderful time in college and that my first week of college life was more amazing than anything I imagined. ^^
On that note, I'm working hard to balance out my time and keep in touch with you all. I'm very sorry about everything! I've thought about possibly getting a new browser so I may comment on your submissions, but it is a bit difficult for me to have to use both.
I'll see to it that I find a solution to this problem! *nods*

So short post is a short post! Just letting you all know that I posted some new art, but I'm really not pressing anyone to comment because I can't comment and it's just UGH. Hm...I'm also planning to revamp Riiya's story a ton because I created her story prior to Birth by Sleep's release, and that changes things.

Good afternoon everyone~ ^^ Just another short post to say that I'm really really grateful for all of the support you guys have given me despite my inability to comment >.< I'm really really sorry I can't..I've been trying to use my phone to comment here and there(since it doesn't have IE9), but it's really annoying and difficult to write comments on my phone.
In any case, thank you all for being there for me!! It makes me feel happy to know that there are people that like my work, but also that there are people that are very kind too here even with all the time that's passed since I've joined!

So basically...well I haven't been able to comment, so I figured the least I could do was reply to you guys here. And plus, I was a bit curious when I saw Wakusei Aoshi's Otaku Quiz being shuffled around among friends haha so I wanted to give it a try!
@MikuBerry: Haha it's okay!! I love it when people I don't really know well talk to me, and besides Katty-chan has been telling me wonderful things about you so I have no reason to like turn away haha. It's alright!
But in any case, I really agree...I mean I'm kinda an old member from 2006, and things have just changed SO much since I first came. When I came, the fave system didn't exist and was just becoming a new beta feature. MyOtaku was used instead of World posts and there were no such thing as subscribers. You could add people as friends to keep up with their pages, but there was no listing of people that "friended" you, so there was no competitive and shallow subbing system...
It's great that you're trying to do all of those things! Hopefully it returns to the swing of things someday..

Yeah I agree..but that might just be due to the fact that the system has become a bit less appealing. People don't really WANT to comment anymore, you know what I mean? The new layout is only making things more chaotic in my opinion...I just really miss the feeling of being in a community that I had here a long while back.
LOL well this is coming from a HUGE original Pooh fan xDD So I was very annoyed by the really different voices, personalities and not-so-catchy songs...I don't know, I just felt like they tried too hard, but it was still really cute.
@Panou-chan: I'm glad that you want to be stuck here! Things were really different before you joined haha...I just feel like everyone nowadays has really lost interest, you know? It's more like take but don't give anything back and I just feel like theO is really lost now. Back when I first joined, the number 1 pic for the fanart section usually regularly got 80-100+ hugs(called votes at the time), and before I even joined they would sometimes get more than 300+!! It was crazy haha there was so much interaction as well. There was no subs system, you would just add people as friends via their MyOtaku and there would be no listing of people that followed you, so you KNEW who your friends were because they were the ones that came to regularly check up on you.

I definitely know what you mean..a lot of people have moved on to "bigger and better things" as I've heard them called, such as DA, Tumblr etc...it's kind of sad but I think it's mostly because people don't WANT to be active here anymore because of all of the changes you know?
LOL I've been referred to Tumblr MORE than enough times, and honestly I don't think I could ever really get used to it ^^; It seems a bit too chaotic to me haha, but thank you!
@Viva: Yeah but I don't think it's completely the people's problem, I find that the changes the site has made are more the issue..because things like the new ranking system based on number of subscribers you have has just made things a lot more unfriendly to me, and that drives people away mostly I feel like. I hope things will change, but I doubt it will because theO is probably just going to keep adding more and more change to the site...
@Sage-san: Haha yeah I kind of have too, don't worry. It was also a medium for me to keep in touch with DA-moved friends, but when I submitted my first somewhat popular pic, that was really what turned DA around for me because I ended up meeting so many new friends because of it.

1. How long have you been an anime fan?
I grew up with Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, Rurouni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho. So around that era haha. I liked Pokemon, but I never really LOVED it. Same goes for Yu Gi Oh, but I ended up finishing the whole series because I randomly felt like restarting it one day and I fell in love with it.
2. What was your first anime?
DragonBall Z, DEFINITELY. I don't know what attracted me to it..but something about anime was just really fascinating and I loved how supernatural and unique it was.
3. What was your first manga?
I was REALLY a late starter on manga..I wasn't actually formally introduced to manga at ALL until around 6th-7th grade xD I got to borrow both DNAngel and Alice 19th from a friend at the same time. Alice 19th REALLY has a special place in my heart, and it's the only series that I plan to own all the volumes of. It was also the very first manga series I finished. I never finished DNAngel haha.
4. What is your favourite anime? Why?
I REALLY liked Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion but if I had to choose a favorite anime of all time, it'd have to be Rurouni Kenshin. It really has taught me to be a good person and work honestly and hard for the things I want. It's also the reason I got so used to not having things handed to me by other people or my parents haha. Kenshin was just really inspiring and the anime just taught me so many things about how people can change and how people work with others to achieve something bigger. The music is also absolutely unforgettable.
5. What is your favourite manga? Why?
This is a REALLY tough one, but if I had to name one that I'll love for all time it'll probably have to be Alice 19th. Hana Kimi also has a really special place in my heart, and so does D.Grayman and Code: Breaker. But I said Alice 19th because a)it's the one that started my love for manga/anime, b)it has a really genuine storyline that's full of fantasy and adventure with a sprinkle of romance haha and c)the art is just gorgeous. Yuu Watase has always been a huge inspiration to me, and she will probably always be one of my favorite if not my absolute favorite artist.
6. What is your favourite manga genre? Why?
I don't really have one actually...I love any genre except horror/gore that has a sprinkle of romance in it =) I really enjoy stories with friendship in it and that explore a lot about a person's growth and transformation. It's just fun to read/watch as a person changes and grows up to understand so many more things than they did before. Whether it's shounen or shoujo, I only require that it has an art style I can handle and a good storyline haha that's all. I can't read pointless fanservice(UM YAOI) manga.
7. How much have your manga tastes changed since you first started watching anime?
Lol can I be honest? They haven't. xDD I always try to search for stories that have genuine meaning behind them. I really love ones that teach a lesson or can be something that I can relate to. They are really inspiring, and I guess that's pretty much it haha.
8. What anime/manga have you been obsessed with over the years? Do you still like it?
I've never been OBSESSED with anything xDD I really love Rurouni Kenshin though, because I've grown up with it, but honestly I read more manga than I watch anime haha. It's just fun being able to hold the book in your hands =)
Manga-wise...still Alice 19th haha but I've never really shown my love for it through my fanart. I really should draw some art for it lol...but yeah, I hold onto everything I read for a long time and don't ever forget it.
9. Do you prefer more mainstream manga or less popular manga?
If it has a good story and at least decent art, I'll read it xD I have my share of mainstream manga likes, which include Naruto and Bleach. I could NEVER get into Hetalia or Kuroshitsuji though..the horrendous amount of fanart for it has just really killed it for me...especially SebastianXCiel and USxUK/Prussia art ugh...
10. What is your favourite anime/manga character?
I don't really have one xD I'll list off a few that mean a lot to me though.
Kenshin Himura, Izumi Sano, Ogami Rei and Kyo Wakamiya, Allen Walker, Kanda Yuu(for guys).
Alice Seno, Mizuki Ashiya, Lenalee Lee, Haine Otomiya(for girls).
11. Do you have a anime/manga crush? If so, who?
Haha well Cloud is from the FF games so I can't say him xDD But if I could, I would lol. I guess I'd have to go with...well any of the guys I just listed above haha. I could never choose lol, but I just really admire all of them.
12. Do you have a favourite anime/manga pairing? If not, make something up (you might suddenly fall in love with it!)

Yes I do! There are too many to list because none of my art really has a general consensus lol...it depends on what I feel like, or what another person asks for.
15. What is your favourite song in an anime (it can be background music or OP/ED songs)?
That's pretty tough haha...well when it comes to background music, I was VERY impressed when I heard the Naruto Shippuden soundtrack. Even if you don't like the anime/manga, I encourage you to listen to the OST for it!
This is my personal favorite from the soundtrack. This and Loneliness.
When it comes to OP/ED songs...even though I've never watched or read Vampire Knight, my sister LOVES it so I checked out the music for it and LOVED this opening.
I was gonna put Howl's Moving Castle but it's not really an anime, it's a movie so yeah xD
16. What is your least favourite anime/manga? Why?
Any poorly-written Yaoi/Yuri/Ecchi/Harem OTL. I just HATE when it's like

I REALLY REALLY don't like those kinds of stories..they are just so pointless and agh, no substance. I'll be honest and say I can't really stand fan service...because for me it's not really service LOL.
17. What is your favourite video game? Why?
The Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy series(though I've only played X and XII). They just have great story lines and Square Enix does a fantastic job with art and graphics. They are just unforgettable.
18. What is your favourite kind of videogame? Why?
Any kind with a good storyline or is just plain entertaining xD I love the classic Mario games LOL.
19. What is your favourite anime movie?
Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away, but really any of the Miyazaki movies I've seen. I'm pretty sure like everyone is gonna put something Miyazaki for their answer to this question xD
