I'm Sakura from OtakuBoards and I just decided to make one of these things to see what all the hype was about

Admittedly I don't know TheOtaku very well because I've never really hung out here much, being more of an OB Junkie, mostly in the Arena or as it's now known, the Cultural District where we do RPing. My interests mostly include the Internet, Videogames, TV, Anime, and Manga.

Anyway, welcome to my "World" where I will update every so often about just stuff in general, maybe something that strikes me during day to day happenings or just talking about life. Perhaps if I do some I'll add proper writings (fictional, essays, etc.) but we'll see how it goes.

Friends, old and new, are welcome so if you want to make a comment or ask questions, feel free.

Debut Posting and April's Fool

So this is my first post for this thing. I've decided that I'll just explain a little about myself. I'm a 19 year old, university student in Australia, studying a Bachelor of Communications. Uh...not really sure what else to say for the debut post...

The other thing I wanted to talk about was the prank Desbreko pulled on OtakuBoards yesterday for April Fools. He ended up changing the header banner and everyone's avatar and banners to the dance from Caramelldansen which is a Swedish song. I had never heard of the song until yesterday but if you've never heard of it, let me tell you, it's REALLY addictive >.> "Ooh Ooh Oa-Oa!"

If you care to search for it on Youtube you'll find PLENTY of different videos for the song, one of my favourites is Misheard Lyrics (See below). It's zany and I just find it really funny because it doesn't make sense at all. The two things that really hit me when I listen to the song and watch the various videos are, "Wackiness!" and "Stupid Cute". Listen to the song. Fall to the addiction~!
