Wonderlanders

I was bored, felt like writing, I'M SORRY IF IT'S BAD LOL

The White Rabbit

A nicely dressed, tall man with bright white rabbit ears stood outside on the real world staring at his pocket watch. He seemed quite troubled, even at just a glance. He cursed in Italian and replaced the watch into his pocket. “I’m late…!” He angrily muttered, running off from where he stood.

He passed by cafes and parks and even with as many people as he passed, they paid him no mind. He continued to run as fast as he could. He was quite proud of himself; he managed to run this far without tripping over himself.

His name was Dino. He didn’t even belong to the world he was currently in. He was just now returning home after a job he was given. He just had to get to the entrance of his world, and then he only had a short ways left to go.

He jumped the fence of a residential home and continued running once he landed on his feet. The path he ran down was long, he didn’t even understand why a small (despite it being rich) family had to own a long path that stood abandoned for no one ever walked it.

He entered the clearing where a small pond and tree laid. He only had to get passed here and then he would be in his entrance. A curly haired brunette rested against the tree, her head stuck in a book. Dino noticed her but assumed she wouldn’t him, so he continued to run right past her.

The girl blinked and looked up, watching the direction the man went. “Hello?” When she saw the man, she placed her book down quickly and stood up.

Dino looked back and finally noticed that the girl noticed him. “Ahhh… Forgive me, my lady! This is just a simple shortcut for I’m laaa----- aaAAAAAA”

The girl gasped and hurried after the man. She witnessed him trip over his own feel and continue to roll, right into a hole. “Sir are you okay?!”

She stopped at the hole and looked down. There was no man. No sound. Not even a bottom to be seen for the hole! How strange. Maybe it was just her imagination. “Oh well…” She sighed.

She was just about to turn back until a strong wind from the hole swept around her and pulled her in.

The Caterpillar

Danni sat upon her mushroom seat and looked quite blue. No, she wasn’t sad. Her outfit (and entire wardrobe) was full of all different shades of blue clothing. Antennas curled out of her head and twitched in the direction of the breeze whenever it passed. Leaning back in her seat and placing her feet up on a mushroom ottoman, she brought a long pipe up to her lips. Blowing into it, bubbles came out from the end. She wasn’t allowed to have a real pipe.

“Oh, why must it be so boring!” Danni asked aloud, to no one in general. No one was around in the first place to have heard her. She sighed at the answer that didn’t come and blew more into her bubble pipe.

“Danni, hubbu!”

Danni sat up at hearing her name and the title came directly after. “Wifu?”

A girl with rabbit ears popped through the bushes and beamed. She was the March Hare. “Hubbu!” She hopped over to the blue caterpillar girl and took her free hand. “Join me for tea!”

Danni pouted and stayed where she sat. “I can’t, Jenny. I have to sit here.”

“What?” Jenny’s face dropped. “But it’s tea time! And you’re already late!”

“I’m sorry..! I really want to but the queen said I’d have my head chopped off if I move! And I kinda like my head.” Danni whined, she really did want to join. But they all had their duties. Some had more free duties than others.

The only reason Danni really wanted to join the tea party was because of the Dormouse. Dante was given the job to do what he pleased. And he chose to sleep all day where the tea parties were kept. But, they can’t help what the Queen has assigned.

“Next time we have days off~” Danni said in finality.

Jenny puffed out her cheeks but agreed to it. “Okay!” And with that she simply hopped off. Surprisingly fast this time around. She must have been running low on her blood coffee sugar.

Danni leaned back again, puffing on her bubble pipe until she heard more rustles in the bushes. “Jenny, I can hear you still.”

“Who is this ‘Jenny’ you speak of, good lady?”

A girl of a light blue dress and long brunette curly hair stepped out of the bushes, brushing out any leaves that had gotten caught.

Danni stared at her, taking a long puff on her pipe. “Who. Are. You?”

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum

Two girls, a brunette and a blonde, sat on a fallen log together, back to back. They were the twins that inhabited the land. Well. That’s a lie. They looked nothing alike. They didn’t even have the same birthday! They just acted very much alike and did everything together to the point where they were just considered twins. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum they were referred to as. The Queen constantly continued to forget their real names, so she gave them those titles. Their real names were really Mocha for the brunette and Kiki for the blonde. They both sighed simultaneously.

“So bored…” They said together.

“Shall we play a game, twinnie?” Mocha asked.

“Which one?” Kiki counter-asked.

They sat in silence again, having racked their brains for game ideas but realizing they’ve gotten bored of all the ones they’ve played or thought of.

Both of the girls honestly wanted to be at the castle messing and teasing two certain Cards. And playing pranks on the rest of the Queen’s subjects. But they had to stay at their post. Queen’s orders. They didn’t like it. Well, maybe except for ones who had tea parties every day. They pretty much did what they liked.

Hearing a noise getting close to their opening, the two girls hopped of the log. They held hands and waited for whatever was coming to come. The arrows on their hats bobbed back and forth from the movement. Mocha didn’t even like her hat. But the Queen had taken away her favored top hat.

“Oh dear.” A voice started while still in the shadows of the path. “I’ve only met one person here and they seemed very peculiar!” The curly haired brunette stepped into the opening and looked up from off the ground. “Oh. Hello there.”

Mocha and Kiki looked at each other. They’ve never seen the one who came out of the woods in Wonderland before. Perhaps a new subject to the Queen? They didn’t know. But while had the chance, they decided to have a little fun and cause some chaos.

“Hello weary traveler!”

The Cheshire Cat

Francis dangled his legs (and tail) off of the branch that he sat upon. He was roaming around all day long and found nothing to do. What happened to the days when there was too much to do at once? The Queen hadn’t called for any events lately, either. It was a slow year.

He decided to go and join someone who was free and able to leave their post. Francis was the only one who was ever quick enough to be able to get away from the Queen during her title assignments. So he was left alone and allowed to be a roamer and do what he pleased.

The only group he knew of that were given an exactly specific job was a certain trio that obsessed themselves to having tea parties every day. Having made up his mind, he disappeared from the tree he sat on and reappeared outside a gate.

“Bonjour~! I ‘ave returned~” Francis said, walking through the gate. His only greeting was the smash of a tea cup next to his head and the sight of an unhappy March Hare.

“YOU’RE LATE FOR TEA AGAIN, CHESHIRE.”

Francis simply sighed and shook his head with a smirk. “But per’aps I am early for the next meeting, cher. ‘Ow would you even know~?”

Jenny only huffed and placed herself back in her chair and resumed to drink from a cup that was literally cut in half. Somehow the tea was staying in the same.

Francis only rolled his eyes and began to disappear, starting from his feet up. “You know what they say about patience, my dear?” The last thing to disappear was the grin that was being formed on his lips. His voice continued to echo through the air while the March Hare watched and drank her tea. “Good things come to those who have it, so you need to gain some, ma cher~”

“But patience is boring!” Jenny protested, pouting. “And Hime and Dante have gone off to get more tea and I’ve been stuck here! It’s boring!”

It was quiet for a long moment. Jenny let down her guard in disappointment thinking that she was alone again. It was only until a puff of air on her neck made her jump up.

“Then go find something to do.” Francis said, standing behind the startled Hare.

Jenny looked unamused as she turned around to face Francis, her hand on the back of her neck from the reaction. “How about target practice, then?” She said, picking up an empty tea cup and chucking it at the Cheshire. He only ended up disappearing immediately as the cup passed through him. His chuckle echoed and faded.

Francis was standing outside the gate once again. He started walking away from it until he heard someone complaining.

“Well I never..!”

The Cheshire raised a brow. The voice he heard was a new one that he hadn’t heard before. She decided to mess with her mind and make her confused. He grinned mischievously as he disappeared to prepare himself.

The Tea Party Trio

“Move down, move down!” The mad hatter exclaimed, shooing at her companion that sat behind her. “It’s time to move down!”

The March Hare moved down as told, hopping to the music that played out of stereos on the side. The long table the two sat at could easily fit 20 or so more. But it was just the two. With the Dormouse to the side, but he laid on the ground under the table and slept.

“Hime, could you pass the sugar, please~?” Jenny asked, grinning to her friend.

“Of course, Jenny, it IS your merry unbirthday!” Hime replied, passing over the sugar cup.

The two laughed, Jenny filled her tea with sugar that overflowed the drink, Hime drank tea straight from the tea pot, making sure that her hate was still secure on her head.

They sang and enjoyed themselves at their daily unbirthday party tea party. Dante, the dormouse, continued to sleep, but he wasn’t even bothered anyways.

“A very merry unbirthday, to you!”

“And to you!”

Cake was also served, because the two claimed that there couldn’t be an unbirthday party without cake.

No one else was ever really able to join them. Mostly because the queen gave them their duties and roles. Jenny always complained, but didn’t complain as much as she should since she at least was able to see the Cheshire. Even if he was always late. She would have liked it better if he just stayed with her so the he would never be late.

Hime wanted to visit the Queen’s castle. But she didn’t find it worth it. Even if she did take a liking to a few of the Queen’s Card subjects.

But they ignored the fact and continued on with their party.

The curly hair brunette walked in on the party that was being held and laughed while enjoying the festivities that was going on.

Hime and Jenny stopped and looked at their new visitor. They grinned and jumped towards the new girl. “HAPPY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY TO YOU!”

The brunette blinked and smiled. “Thank yo- EEK!”

She froze as a cup smashed right beside her. Jenny giggled like a madwoman and grinned. “Welcome~!”
