In other news
I went to the bathroom earlier
and while I was washing my hands, I glanced in the mirror at my reflection.
and I stared for a bit...
Noticing each and every detail
Mostly things I do not like...
So I would really like to change.
I know I can't change the shape of my ears, or the size of my nose without surgery or other drastic measures, but I /can/ change other things about myself that would in turn make me feel better about myself (hopefully)
And I made a pact right then and there.
And I sealed that pact.
How?
I shaved off my damn eye brows.
Now that I think about it, that was probably a bad idea.... BUT I don't regret it.
I can draw them on, and in turn it will encourage me to start wearing mascara and maybe foundation or tinted moisturizer daily again.
Just little things that boost my confidence.
I'm going to start taking better care of my skin and body. In many ways.
Eating healthier.
I'm also thinking about going full on vegan. I'm already vegetarian. It's not that big of a change.
and now that Anime Boston is over, and I have time to actually /do/ things again, I can start going to the gym again~
Plus it's starting to get warm out, so I can bring my dog out for hikes and stuff

and I'm probably doing it for all of the wrong reasons, but I'm a teenager.

Aiden: Oldest boy, serious brainy boy, helped A LOT with the twins when they were babies and used to read to the three younger ones x] Also works part time at the Spa after class. But srs. He's a nerd. Awkward as heck.
Claire: Good twin. She's the smart one. Finishes homework first, on honor roll. Longish wavy blonde hair with pink tips. She's a suck up though. Good to the extreme
Kailee: Other twin. EVIL TWIN. Used to steal food from Sebastian when he was a toddler >.>;; Frequently gets brought home from the cops, all of the neighbors hate her, but she's smart. She has a nemesis. But is also on honor roll and has a part time job with Aiden. whenever I tell her to do something she does it 'fiendishly' or 'evily' like if you click on her bed it will say 'Evil Slumber' It's quite amusing~
Sebastian: WHORE. OH GOD HE'S A WHORE. He brings girls home EVERY DAY! Always a different girl, and I think he has a girlfriend... The friend meter thing is all the way up, and there's hearts when they're together so yeah xD He's the youngest of the 4, just turned into a teenager recently and got a part time job at the library (or something). He's a neat freak and cleans EVERYTHING ALWAYS. But cant cook to save his life, and almost burned the house down multiple times.
SOOOO yeah. My Sims family.

Oh, I am finally watching Hetalia. It's okay. Not super fantastic, but I do laugh at the silly jokes...

I went to my old school dressed as School!Girl Ciel

We wore white button down shirts, red plaid skirts, red ties, and shorts under the skirts
Alois' skirt had black lace at the bottom, and she wore knee high socks with black pumps
I wore lacy thigh high tights with black heeled boots~
AND a tiny hat with red and white flowers/ribbons with black lace that covered my right eye. I put it together a few months ago and forgot about until yesterday xD
And of course we both wore our wigs ect..
We got some pretty weird looks
and after class Dylan told us that some girls said we looked like 'whores' and 'sluts' but that's totally okay.
Because they just mad bro. Plus how do you look like a whore? Isn't a slut someone who sleeps around? So... Tell me how that even makes sense? xD
and I bet any one of you guys that they wouldn't DARE say it to either of our faces~

It bothered Nessa a little bit when she found out, but I honestly laughed my ass off

When I was younger my dad, brother, and mom used to all go to the beach together. My dad would pack this huuugggeeeee cooler with food and drinks and stuff...
Mind you this was MAAANNNYYYYY years ago lol
I was on Tumblr, and a music clip came up. So I clicked it.
It was Mambo Number 5
My god...
Every little detail came back to me...
I just remember every little thing about this one particular day...
(We used to go to the beach A LOT, but this one memory stuck with me for some reason..)
So I remember sitting at the picnic table, my mom was sun bathing, Ronnie (my brother) was messing with the sand critters he caught earlier, my dad was at the grill, and I was messing with the radio. When I came to a station with this song, I remember my brother telling me to leave it on this station. So I did.
Ronnie started singing along, I just laughed and said he was weird
Then my dad joined in, and I laughed even more
I even remember what we were all wearing...
It's crazy...
Like I was really young, but this song just brought back this particular memory, which in turn made me remember a bunch of other things...
It's kind of overwhelming...
Over the years I've done my best to block all most of my memories out just to protect myself
But certain things bring thoughts back...
And they hurt
Even the really good memories
They just hurt now
Of course I laugh thinking about them all
But after the laughter comes the tears
and the pain
always the pain...
and it's hard enough to keep my sanity these days...
So it's really better for everyone if I just forgot them all
But I don't really /want/ to forget those times...
They are very precious to me... I just can't bare to be in this much pain all the time....

So do you guys have any certain songs/other random things that remind you of certain memories?
Like one of mine is Mambo #5, and it reminds me of a lovely day I spent at the beach with my family
another is blue lobsters. Whenever I see one I think of back when I would visit my grandma at her beach condo (I spent A LOT of time near the ocean as a kid lol) and this one time I remember making smores with my brother and a friend at a family beach party like thing (There were a bunch of families and other kids, and we just played in the sand and danced like idiots lol plus there was a bonfire ect) Anyway, I remember my Grandma coming down to the beach and telling us dinner was almost ready so we needed to get cleaned up. So we left. Went up walked back to the condo. And we see a bunch of lobsters crawling around in the sink. I was fascinated to say the least. So I asked why they were brown and not red like other lobsters. Grandma told me they turn red after they were cooked. And I asked why she didn't get the blue ones like they had at the other store so they would turn purple after they were cooked.
I was quite disappointed because I might have had a chance to eat a PURPLE lobster
RIGHTO, so she told me to wash up and she'll have a surprise for when we come back. After we were clean/in dry clothes we went to the kitchen and the lobsters were all cooked and sitting on newspapers. Surrounding said news papers were a bunch of bottles of paint!
She actually went out and bought us paint so we could have those coveted purple lobsters....
Holy balls I write too much on here...
You'd think I talk a lot in real life but I'm actually really quiet
TheOtaku is really the only place where I go overboard with this ranting business........
