Well folks, here we are! Finally we have a World under our belts (design and logo tentative, they're here to look pretty) and that means we'll be getting this project underway!

For those of you who clicked the wrong link but are reading this anyway, allow me to explain: ...Well, first, I'm Katana, and I guess you could say I'm the leader of the Rifftakus. But what in the name of Liberace is a rifftaku? Well, they're people like you or me who attend the weekly Movie Sign chat (see the Watercooler) and decided to make their own group and riff their own things.

We all riff, whether you know it or not. Have you ever watched a movie, played a video game, snoozed through a school film, and made jabs or comments about it? That's riffing, and can be done to the best and worst offerings of media. Nothing is safe from the observations of the human mind.

So what does this mean to you?

Well, taking cue from RiffTrax and their iRiff program, we decided to take a group of mixed gender, age, race, interests, hair colors, drinks, throw them in a blender, and enjoy the creation that come out at the end. Unlike iRiffs, however, the end result is free to you! That's right - whether you love it or hate it, not a cent is spent. We do these things because we're weird, which results in creativity.
