Manga Review
Manga Name: Jack Frost
Number of Volumes: 3 volumes are currently available to western readers; the fourth is set to come out this December while the Fifth is set for next April. There are 15 chapters to date, it is still ongoing but there have been no current releases since 2009.
Author and Artist: Korean Artist JinHo Ko
Age Scale: It is a somewhat mature series, plenty of rather detailed fanservice and gore.
Summery: It is revolved around a girl named Noh-A as she enters Amityville high. But things are not always as they seem and might even be something to lose your head over, quite literally. Caught in world of paranormal people and creatures; Noh-A is stuck in the midst of all the chaos as they battle for Supremacy. But she finds unlikely help with the strongest in the North District none other than Jack Frost.
Personal Opinion: Despite the uncomfortable fanservice at times the art is really quite eye catching with sharp contours and definitely not lacking in bloody detail.
1-5 Scale: I’ll give it a 4 for plot reasons; the characters didn’t really evolve too terribly and the plot was hard to follow at times but even though lacking in small areas it really is an intresting read if you’re looking for something a little darker~
