saturday, i made this at school.. as u know.. i go to a private art school on saturdays for my portfolio stuff for university.. only 2hrs of class and this is all i get to do... the curtain... XD
it's the still life painting im working on.. and i've decided to make it sepia tone.. i wanted a black and white tone but i thought i should challenge myself with colors... 6 colors i think... does it look like a curtain..? XD for 2 hrs this is all i came up with... not exactly did just this for the whole class... i was told to mix colors first but it was useless coz i was mixing in the canvas.. i didnt know how to start, those how have seen me were probably nervous when they first saw how i was doing.. lol.. and i was nervous too.. but my "whatever" attitude came in handy.. so whatever... i still need to fix some stuff from the curtain... mada mada da ne.. XD
and here's something to look forward.... im really stingy when it comes to previews.. lol... at least u'll know what im doing.. *if ur interested to know that is..* XD
goodbye sketchbook.. we got a4 papers now... :D then i'll draw kakashi later.. or maybe a little more later after some business done..

as much as i wanted to finish one, i cant help but turn the next page and start a new drawing... it happens a lot.. XD
i suddenly got lazy so im stopping half way as usual... might as well watch some anime while on break...

i dunno whats up today but i drew 3 something something... lol...
before i went to school, i found this sketch i made last month.. i was suppose to submit this for some contest in da but i forgot about it.. and so i tried to finish it but i didnt have time..
it's quite small and it was sketched on a normal paper so i didnt have any troubles with this one.. took about 15mins on the first half coz i was thinking too much of the how to's and what not especially on the leaf/flower or whatever that is.. i dunno when i can finish this but u'll probably wonder what that is too.. lol.. it doesnt make any sense.. its not a flower nor a leaf.. that bottom part sure gave me a hard time.. XD

usagi.. but something went wrong with her face.. lol.. eeh.. among anything else, this girl is always the first thing that pops in my mind whenever i try to doodle something.. XD drawn using a ballpen.. i was in a hurry and carried the wrong bag so i didnt have my paper and pencil.. well i never ran out of paper from my notebook so i used that instead.. XD
and lastly, i came home and remembered Mai rionette's post about horror.. i got inspired and drew something.. well it's almost done but i cant use the scanner atm.. XD
this is probably the closest to realism i can ever do.. well.. i tried.. XD
im thinking of making a wallpaper for this.. lol.. another scary wallie..
watching: la corda d'oro.. eeto.. i dont remember where i left off so im just gonna rewatch it from the start.. second season is starting too.. <3

ugh... i hate it when i peel off something from the sketchbook and it still wont fit in the scanner.. TT^TT
im blaming the scanner just this once.. lol.. although i admit it was partly my mistake for drawing such a huge picture.. >x<
and saturday (march 21,'09) is officially bye bye to crayons.. i wasnt able to scan it coz i've thrown this with the other scratches.. (garbage day rush.. lol..) XD
*sigh*
im still disappointed how that drawing wouldnt fit in the scanner... gaah... >_<.
Still Life in canvas... opinions pls...
yesterday, saturday, i went to my art school.. though said art school, they dont teach the how tos.. its a private art school in which u create ur own projects.. i just enrolled there to make me dedicate my time just for art for my portfolio requirements (coz if i stay at home to do some art stuff, i'll just be distracted by a lot and will just procrastinate til the deadline lol..) and i also need a reference/testimony of some sort from an art teacher.. coz i need that too to get into the faculty of fine arts in university.... x.x
anyway.. self projects.. i chose a painting.. on a canvas.. yeeaaayyyy!! i also needed a still life painting as required from the portfolio reqs so still life...
the masque is referenced from d.gray-man's mask.. lol.. i honestly wanted to draw the real one but its too plain and a little masculine.. XD i added a rose but i dunno if thats alright.. *unease* these 2 objects are laid on a round table and on the background is a curtain... im thinking of a stage curtain or that of a royal kind..
and so i need ur opinion.. coz im not good in colors.. i dunno what colors to use...
the teacher only asked me some points or rather it was a hint of some sort.... =x="

- i dunno.. but it somehow tells a story.. "somehow"....
* is it a romantic story, dramatic, tragic, etc..?
- dramatic romance..? i think it will depend on the colors... *which is my problem atm..*
* where is the focal point?
- isnt it the 2 objects..? (=,=") if i had to choose between the two.. i dont know...
* if u chose a theme like shades of red, the leaf on the rose will stand out. how will u not let that happen?
im still in doubt.. normally, i'd choose a red shade too but yeah.. my problem is the leaf.. and im not liking a red-pinkish mask.. x.x so i tried considering other shades that would blend with the leaf.. *troublesome leaf!* green-blue-purple might be a good one.. since i wanted the mask to be on the same color as allen's clown crown mask (d.gray-man).. lol.. then i'd have to settle for a cool theme.. (but then the rose...! oh gee.. gotta do something bout that..) or i can go for a yellow/sepia tone (thanks to 15385bic's sepia pic which inspired me a lot..) 
which could be nice too... or a desaturated red theme with the leaves withering in color...
theres so many options.. she (art teacher) only gave me a push on a free fall... free fall.. means i can do whatever i want to it.. lol... but i want this to be a successful painting since this is gonna be my first painting..
oh dear.. i wonder how long have i been typing this... XD
anyway, to make it short.. i need ur opinions about this matter... comment about ur thoughts... what do u think..? the picture itself..? as a still life, i wanted something unique coz i've been seeing flowers on a vase for a still life picture so i squeezed some anime-ish feel with the mask and the rose--though i kinda messed up the rose's form.. lol... XD
please comment..... i really need it.. i apprecite it.. *hugs*
PS.. i wanted to submit this in the fanart section but its a scrap.. for now.. im not sure if im gonna get more comments here.. but i hope so..... i have til next saturday to decide.. >_<.
