A few hours later

Kita rose from where she was laying on the ground. She reached up rubbing the back of her neck. Remembering what happen Kita quickly looked around for Zeshin. Not seeing him she realized she was in a cave.
"Where has he taken me to?"
He stood in a dark corner obscured from her sight, "Don't worry you are safe"
Kita quickly turned in the direction of the voice. "Why did you bring me here and where exactly are we?"
"You are safe." Rustling was heard from the shadows. Shortly after the hollow jaw that was around his neck skidded across the floor and landed in front of her.
Kita looked at the bone on the floor, "You tell me I am safe..." She paused looking toward him once more, "but you can't even control yourself."
"What makes you say that?"
"You jump between Toshiro and Zeshin. Like a girl changes her shoes."
"I do not understand your reference."
Kita looked away with a sigh, "I don't even know who I am talking to. Toshiro or Zeshin." She wrapped her arms around herself rubbing her forearms as she slightly shivered.
Toshiro stepped into her view, "It's me, so relax." He rubbed the area where the snake bone was and sat down in front of her. He took off his jacket and tossed it over to her. Just as he did the hollow hole on his chest disappeared.
Kita shook her head as she caught the jacket. "Kisuke's handily work I see." She wrapped the jacket around her shoulders.
"Yup." His appearance had returned to normal for the most part. His hair and reiatsu were still the same, unfortunately.
"Why did you do this?" Kita looked over to him as he sat across from her. "You risk your life and your sanity for a mission."
"Isn't it obvious?"
Kita shook her head, "No it is not. You don't know me. You own me nothing. So why?"
"To protect the innocent. To save the ones who have done nothing wrong, but still suffer from the evil of others regardless."
Kita smiled brightly, "Spoken like a true prodigy." She stood and walked past him.
"You can’t leave this cave by the way, and no one can enter it."
Kita turned holding the jacket around her looking at him, "So I am trapped here?" Her tone was less then pleased. "What do you want from me?"
"Just for a while. I thought laying low seems like a good idea for you right now." He stood up and walked over to her, "And I don’t want anything from you."
Kita sighed. She knew he was right. She knew Aizen was on the hunt for her as well as her master would be. She would hate to be found by him at that moment in time, but than as time passes he will only grow more angered.
"If my master finds us..." She paused fearing the worst.
"We are surrounded by a rather strong barrier; our spiritual pressure is completely concealed. Not even the Gods could find us."
Kita laughed, "and you believe that?"
"Yes, I do," he smiled, "after all; your prodigy cast the barrier himself. Though it did take a lot out of me."
Kita walked back toward him a soft laugh still escaped her, "If the gods wanted US that badly, Toshiro." She stepped past him turning quickly to look at him, "All they would have to do is snap their fingers and we would be GONE."
"Are you hungry? I captured some smaller hollows for you earlier....That's what you eat right?"
