heaven or hell
Sing to the sky,
And god shall grant you rain.
Curse at the earth,
And Lucifer will give you hell.
“Which would you prefer?”
The demon whispers,
The answer is yours,
No one else’s…
Look to the sky,
And god calls,
“Listen to me,
I know the best.
He is nothing,
Lies,
A jest!”
Heaven or hell,
Good or evil.
No one,
Yes no one,
Can choose like you.

Life without adventure,
And love without lust,
On and on,
Has come not to mean much.
Call and call,
But no one will hear.
Listen and listen,
To what I have here.
Sounds and sights,
With an appalling ring.
Glass breaking with a re sounding,
“DING!”
to follow
A girl on the path,
She’s running fast.
I follow her threw the woods,
But she’s to far ahead…
I reach the end,
And saw a wall of glittering,
Glisten,
Wonderment,
There I found the one worth following,
And smiled…
Just smiled,
At a reflected me.
-note: i was reading The Road not Taken in class today, and this came to mind.-
falling or flying
We’ve both been falling for a long time now,
Dreaming of the day that we will fly.
In our own ways,
We’ve been shoved from the firm grasp of earth.
The planes fly by us as we grow closer to the ground.
We look into each other’s eyes,
Looking for some way to stop the pain…
You reach for me,
But I’m scared to get to close.
Scared I might just hit the ground faster.

So free!
You see through other’s eyes,
But does everyone see?
You look for meaning,
And search for rhyme,
But I’m here to tell you,
Listen to the wonderment,
Listen to the joy,
Listen to the pain,
And listen to they’re ploys…..
You’ll see more than you know,
When you see threw other’s eyes.
-note: There's this kid in my class who drives me insane!!!! no creativity, and no idea of the limitless bounds of the imagination... everytime he opens his mouth, i just want to smack him! so i guess, i wrote these for people like him.-
