Complexity~1

“Elegantly crafted halls filled with an air of nonchalant, orderly classrooms, and beautifully sprawling gardens kept with the upmost care; these are only a few of the things that makes up Ouran Academy. It is, as some would describe it a playground for the extremely wealthy. Tucked away in a far corner of this prestigious academy is the base of a club unlike any other that this school has to offer. This club is none other than the Host Club! The host club is comprised of seven members, each with a specific appeal. Kyouya, the cool type; Haruhi, the natural type; Mori, the wild type; Hunny, the loli-shuta type; Hikaru and Kaoru, the little devil type; and the king ruling on high of this elite club is Tamaki, the prince type! Just imagine the heated passion of the hearts of these young men!!! Interested yet?!” Renge posed dramatically as she finished her monologue.
“If I say yes, will you promise to never do that again?” prompted Eun Mi as the pair made their way through the halls after the last bell.
“Aw, come on! You can tell me you’re not even a little interested?!” Renge, whom Eun Mi had meet yesterday, was now animatedly trying to push her towards the club room.
“Sorry Renge, but I don’t have time to waste on such things. Besides, Terasu will be waiting for me”, she said as she shook free of Renge’s deadly otaku grip. This, being her strongest attack, took much strength.
“Great idea! We’ll bring her too!!”, Renge, now even more energetic than before, grabbed hold of Eun Mi’s arm and began a mad dash towards the front gates where Amaterasu always waited.
“RENGE!!!! THAT’S NOT WHAT I MEANT!!! AH! YOU’RE RUNNING TOO FAST!” shocked at her sudden burst, Eun Mi couldn’t do much but try to keep up.
“Of course it’s what you meant! You just don’t know it that yet! Wait till you see it! It’s perfect, I tell you, just perfect!” over excitedly she came slowed to a swift walk, as the gate and Terasu drew closer.
“Run:, Eun Mi mouthed to Amaterasu as they drew closer. The confusion was apparent on Amaterasu’s face, and as Renge came to a stop of her Eun Mi knew that there was no escaping now. Sighing a long slow sigh she threw Amaterasu a defeated glance.
“What’s going on here?” Amaterasu blurted as Renge grabbed her wrist as well. Renge froze momentarily, growing confused as she observed the two girls.
Wow! You two look really similar; forgive me if I confuse you! Hoho!” Amaterasu rolled her eyes idly and Eun Mi smiled. People always seemed to think that exact thing; though the two actually quite different. At times it could get a little repetitive, but Eun Mi found some pleasure in the thought that people could compare her to someone like Terasu, whom she had always found so wonderful on so many levels.
“Is that why you’ve captured me?” Amaterasu asked with a smile tracing the corners of her eyes,” I wasn’t aware that it was a crime.”
“Nope! It’s even better than that!! Wait till you see what I’ve got to show you!” She jabbered on, practically squealing with excitement at this point. And with that, she began to speed back towards the school again, taking Eun Mi and Amaterasu in tow. The prisoner’s looked to each other shaken.
“Is she crazy?” Amaterasu whispered to Eun Mi.
“Maybe, just a little more than a lot”, she responded.
“You still haven’t even told me where we’re going”, Amaterasu pointed out to Renge.
“Ah!” Renge stopped at this and turned dramatically towards them growing more animated with every word, “Let me explain…. Elegantly crafted halls filled with an air of nonchalant, orderly classrooms, and beautifully sprawling gardens kept with the upmost care; these are only-“
“Not this again!” Eun Mi cried out as she thrust her palm against her forehead, ” she’s forcing us to a host club, Terasu.”
“A host club?” Amaterasu tilted her head to one side,” I didn’t notice one of those… that’s sounds like something some would notice….” Amaterasu became lost in her own thoughts.
“ON WARD THEN!” cried Renge as she thrust forward once more and threw open the doors to a room marked 3rd Music Room.

This is Me

Emotionless and blunt,
That is me.
No sound and no feeling,
Which was everything I saw.

Sadness and sorrow,
Pain and nothingness,
There is no escape.

It’s hard to explain,
And not easy to show.
If I didn’t tell you,
You’d never of known.

I’ve always been good at the lie,
Just repeating my lines,
Throw them a smile,
And play it like I’ve done before.

The Real Lie

Lying here wide awake at night,
Realizing why I’m so alone,
It’s not you,
Or anyone else,
It’s who isn’t here.

In the silence I hear sound,
And in the emptiness I see space.
But as I lay down to sleep,
I know I lied to myself.

No one’s there,
I’m still alone,
Always,
Just only me.

Does anyone else really see what’s wrong with me?
Do they know why I cry?
Or why I have to lie?
No,
Not even I can't see it yet….

Another night,
All alone,
I’ll look at this and think,
It was only a poem.
But maybe one day,
I’ll look down at these lines,
And see the real lie,
Hidden deep, deep inside.

forms of freedom

Freedom of speech,
Freedom of press,
Freedom of life,
Freedom from stress.

Freedom of sound,
Freedom of light,
Freedom to me,
Because I have the right.

traveling

Through the dark,
I have traveled.
Through the light,
I was found.
Searching for resonance,
Searching for sound.

Will i find it,
Or will it find me?
I believe this is how I,
Was suppose to be.
