Finishing Unfinished Business

Ladies and gentlemen, BTO!

Hello again everyone. Just thought I'd take some time to do a bit of an update on things. Those of you who read my last two posts might recall that I was having trouble viewing the third episode of an anime series on Crunchyroll. Following Keba Si Rota's suggestion, I went ahead an posted the problem I was having on Crunchyroll's support forum. While I didn't get any response from a tech support person or anyone like that, this one random nice guy on the site offered me a two-day premium membership guest pass so I could watch the episode in question without the ads. So I was finally able to watch the third and fourth episodes of Izetta: The Last Witch yesterday afternoon, but the guest pass was at best a temporary solution. That guy who gave me the guest pass told me that my earlier difficulty could've just been a problem with the episode itself, but if it is a problem having to do with a certain advertisement video, I could be back to square one by next week.

In addition to finishing that anime episode yesterday, I was also finally able to finish something this morning at the archive I help out at. One of my projects there has been to enter these boxes of material into the digital catalog for my town's library. Well last week, I was entering a certain box when I accidentally hit the wrong thing on the keyboard and ended up logging myself out of the system. Unfortunately I couldn't log back into the system myself because I'm not allowed to have the password, and the only two people who were allowed to have the password weren't there at the time. One of them was on vacation, and the other person was out doing a certain errand and wasn't going to be back for a couple of hours. I had to leave by a certain time, so I was forced to leave the catalog record for that box unfinished. That catalog record was left unfinished for a week because that other guy who had the password usually doesn't come in until around the same time I have to leave (that other time last week was something of a special occasion).

Fortunately, the other person who had the password to the catalog system had finally come back from her vacation this morning, so I was able to finish that record and even get a few more boxes entered into the system as well. That's pretty much all there is to report at the moment. Until next time, everyone.
