KHAAAAAAAN!

Those poor Bracelet Girls.

This first part of the post is going to something of a spoiler for the latest episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V, so those of you not wishing to be spoiled may want to skip these next two paragraphs. Anyway, it turns out that three of the four Bracelet Girls pictured above have mind control parasites attached to their brains! Towards the end of the episode, the parasite inside Selena peeked a tentacle out of her ear! They're basically like Chekov in Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan, hence the title of this post referencing the iconic and rather cheesy scene from the movie that happens after the parasite inside Chekov is killed. This post's title also personifies how I feel about the ARC-V anime at this moment.

I mean this week's episode was such a freaking downer! They finally reunite Yugo with Rin, an event that I've been waiting about two seasons for, and then the writers pull this crap! Plus this whole parasite thing is just so messed up! However this thing ends, I'm sure those Bracelet Girls are going to be emotionally scarred; especially if they're conscious about everything that's going on but can't do anything because those freaking brain parasites are controlling all their motor functions. I mean... holy crap! Mind control is nothing new to the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, but I never thought I'd see anything like this a Yu-Gi-Oh! series. Those dang writers!

Okay, I got that little rant out of my system. I thank anyone who might've read it, but if you skipped ahead, that's okay too. Anyway, I really just wanted to do a post to let everyone know how I've been doing. I haven't been having the best day so far today, to tell the truth. This morning at that archive I help out, their server was down so I couldn't do any work on this one project I've been working on for the last few months. Of course I guess losing one day ultimately won't hurt anything. I mean it's not like it's urgent for me to finish this project.

Also, my aunt just had hip surgery during the last week. She had to get the thing replaced because she was starting to have a lot of trouble getting around. It got to the point where I had to help her out with some of her weekly household chores. In theory, my aunt will be returning home this Friday once she gets done with her rehab. Of course my dad and I will have to keep helping her out with stuff over the next month while she finishes her recovery. To be perfectly honest, I'm not exactly looking forward to that task. My aunt can be a bit neurotic and fussy, so helping her out with stuff is probably going to be a bit of a challenge. My main concern though is that I'm a bit afraid that my dad isn't going to do his share of the work and expect me to take care of everything for my aunt. He's already kind of done that twice now.

That's pretty much all there is to report for this post. Until next time, I guess.
