Upgraded Again

Laides and gentlemen, Journey.

Hello everyone. I've got some pretty big news to share with you all. I've gotten yet another new computer, more up-to-date than my previous one. As it turned out, my previous computer was not as up-to-date as I thought. This one's not quite top of the line either, but it does seem to be a step up. Plus this one's actually mine. The last one I had was owned by the school my dad works for. This one used to belong to the same school, but they decided to sell it and my dad bought it for me. He just transferred all the stuff from the hard drive of my last computer onto this new one tonight.

So it's kind of a big adjustment, but I think I can get used to it pretty quick. It helps that this one essentially has the brain of my previous computer, so I don't have to spend hours re-bookmarking my favorite websites or importing all my music CDs onto my iTunes. Plus this thing has the same screen resolution as my last computer, so I don't have to get a whole new size of wallpapers for it. The only thing I've had to adjust so far is making it so I can always see the scroll bar. I don't know why the heck that thing was invisible in the first place. Another good thing is that this unit has Photoshop CS5.1 on the doc. I'll probably use my desktop computer for most of my art stuff though, since that one has a scanner. Anyway, so far there have been no major problems with this unit.

That's pretty much all there is to report. The only other thing I feel worth mentioning is that I'm getting close to the end of the Sailor Moon manga. Just started on the Galaxia arc this afternoon. I have to say, that is one dark story arc. I mean it's very well done, but I don't know. It's not my favorite story arc in the series. My favorite will always be the Death Busters arc. Anyway, that's pretty much it for this post. I hope everyone else has had a good beginning of the week so far.
