Ladies and gentlemen, Journey.
So as the title states, my weekend has been sort of good and bad. For starters, yesterday morning when I woke up the cable was out. That's like one of the last things one wants to wake up to on a Saturday. My dad called the cable company about it and they never got back to him. Then a little later we found out it was a problem on our end. Turns out this cable amplifier that my dad had put in had gone bad, so he removed it and everything was working fine again. Besides that, it was a pretty calm uneventful Saturday.
Today didn't start out very good either though. I had woken up at about 6:00 to use the bathroom, and when I was trying to get back to sleep I heard the phone ring from upstairs. My dad picked it up, and the next thing I knew I could hear him moving around upstairs. I knew that whatever the phone call was about couldn't be any good. One thing I've learned over the years is that bad news usually comes early in the morning. I did get back to sleep after a few minutes though. When I woke up again at about 8:00 there was another phone call. It was my dad. He told me that my grandmother had been taken to the hospital. Apparently she was bleeding from the stomach. She's in pretty stable condition at the moment, but she's not out of the woods yet.
Other than all that though, it was an okay weekend. The new fanfic I've been working on has gotten off to a pretty good start. Of course I've been trying to figure out what my next fanfic. I've got a couple of good ideas, but I'm kind of stuck on both of them. One's a Sailor Moon fanfic and the other is this idea for a GX fanfic that I came up with a few months ago. There are some major details that I just can't seem to figure out. Of course maybe that's because I'm trying to force them.
