More Waiting

My dad and I just got back from the vet's a few minutes ago, and it turns out there's some good news about my cat. He has been suffering from some kind of infection, but it's not extremely severe. So for the time being my cat's been put on antibiotics. We're just going to have to see how he does over the next couple of days. This might be something he may yet pull out of. All we can do is wait and see how he responds. The vet also put my cat on a special food, since he's reached the beginnings of kidney failure. That's just something that happens with old cats.

So it doesn't look like my cat's ready to be put out to pasture just yet. That makes me feel a little better. Of course I did have to change the special announcement I put at the end of my current Digimon fanfic explaining the reason why it's been put on hiatus. I guess I should've waited one more day to put that announcement up. That story's still going to be on hiatus for awhile. I just no longer feel like working on it after everything that's happened over the past few days. Anyway, it looks like things are actually looking up a bit. We're just going to have to see if my cat improves.

That's it for now. Until next time.

EDIT: Things are looking up a little more. My cat actually ate some dry food this evening. There seems to be a pretty good chance that we can nurse him back to health. The only thing that really bothers me about all this at the moment is that in addition to this infection he has, my cat has also had a small stroke. I think it's called a TIA or something. Anyway, it's really effected his mobility. He's really wobbly on his legs. I'm not sure if he's going to get his full mobility back, plus this stroke may have effected other things. But at least he's not suffering.

That's it for now. Until next time.
