So I've kinda decided that the song in the above music video is now my theme song for this week. Kind of an odd choice, I know. The reason for it is because the song was used rather humorously in last night's season finale of The Simpson. It's amazing how that show still finds ways to be funny even after all these years. Anyway, the song is kinda stuck now. So now it's my somewhat weird theme song for this week.
Anyway, as the title sort of states, I finally got a new bookcase for my room. It's actually an old set of shelves that belonged to my aunt, but she had no more use for them and said I could have them. And due to my ever expanding collection of manga and books, I've needed a new bookcase now for several months. The bookcase I had before was this dinky little thing that was barely five feet tall and pretty narrow. It ended up getting completely filled up just a couple of months ago. So I'm really glade that I finally got this new set of shelves. My aunt actually gave me the bookcase late last year, but it took forever for my dad to finally borrow our neighbor's pickup and haul it back to the house.
Another thing that happened yesterday was that I finally saw the third Madoka Magica movie, Rebellion Story. Big thanks to XxArrancarFanxX for giving me the link to watch it online. It was a really good movie. I'm only going to say this about it though, they need to do a fourth film because this one ended in kind of a dark place. I hope I didn't reveal too much by saying that. I'm actually not real sure if it was a good idea to watch that movie at 11:00 PM. As good as the movie was, it's left kind of a bitter aftertaste that's stayed with me for most of the morning. Still, I very much enjoyed watching it.
Anyway, that's what happened with me yesterday. I hope everyone else had an interesting weekend.
