Ladies and gentlemen, Billy Joel.
I guess I'm a day late doing this post, but I'm kind of glad that March is finally over. The March of this year was kind of icky for me (for lack of a better term). There was a lot going on for me that month it seemed like. And there were a few times when it seemed like I had these feelings of doom and gloom hanging over me. Of course that month had its high points too. For one thing I had finished a fanfic that I had been planning for months. I also feel like my life got a bit more direction. But overall though, I'm glad I'm finally done with March.
Of course it seemed like this month has kind of snuck up on me a little. For one thing I had forgotten that yesterday was the beginning of my yearly manga rotation. I may have mentioned this before in previous posts, but every year I read certain manga during certain times of the month. Right now I'm on the Card Captor Sakura manga. Anyway, I'm feeling really good about how this month is going right now. My current fanfic is getting some very good response. And towards the end of this year is the release of the Dragons of Legend booster set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game. Soon cards like The Eye of Timaeus and Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight will be made into real cards (though I may have to go out of town to get them).
But most of all, this is the month where Spring really seems to get going. Of course I live in Nebraska, and here it seems like Spring needs a defibrillator at the moment. Still, this is actually one of my favorite times of the year. Anyway, I just wanted to share some of that. I hope everyone else is having a good month so far too.
