So like the title says, I didn't have a very good day today. It actually kind of all started last night after my dad got on my case about something my aunt emailed me about earlier that evening. I'd prefer not to go into details, but the whole incident left me pretty upset for most of the day. It was so bad, I ended up needing to leave the archives early. Later that afternoon I wound up emailing my aunt about what happened. She was actually a bit shocked that my dad wound up getting on my case about this stuff. Apparently that was not the reaction she was expecting.
My aunt also told me that she thinks I'm being a little hard on myself about this stuff. And I think she's right about that. I'm pretty critical on myself about a lot of things. Anyway, the good news is that my aunt and I were able to work out some of the communication issues we've been having. And we also seem to bring to light a communication issue between my dad and my aunt that neither of us seemed to realize existed. The bad news is that my dad and I obviously have a few communication issues, and I'm not a little behind where I wanted to be on my current fanfic. But I was able to relieve a little stress by working on a new wallpaper.
On that note, I realize that I still need to make the prizes for my last wallpaper challenge. Hopefully I'll be able to get to that this weekend. In the meantime, I hope everyone had a much better day than I did.
