Ladies and gentlemen, Survivor.
Well the good news is that I seem to be getting over my cold. I don't think I'm a hundred percent there yet, but I'm feeling a lot better than I was yesterday. I didn't have the best night's sleep last night though. I woke up like three or four times. The last was to get some Advil for this headache I ended up with. Then I had a really strange dream where my dad was pressuring me to run for political office. And I think there was something about me going on the run to get out of it, and I think something involving lobsters. But I'm not sure.
Despite the rough night though, I did pretty well today. I even felt up to writing a small one-shot fanfic I had been meaning to do for most of the week. Anyway, one small reason for the video included in this post is that today was the day of the opening ceremonies for the 2014 Winter Olympics. I don't watch the actual Olympics, but I do enjoy the opening and closing ceremonies. But I have to say, I have kind of a bad feeling about these 2014 games. I just feel like something bad is going to go down at some point. Anyway, I hope everyone else's weekend is getting off to an okay start.
