Well, we've now come to the end of yet another year. I always get a little depressed at New Years. For me it's another reminder of the passage of time and how nothing lasts forever. The year of 2013 is now pretty much a part of history. We'll never get it back. But then, the coming year also holds a lot of promise. I'm sure there are some things in 2014 that many are looking forward to.
At this time I kind of like to think about how my own year went. For me, 2013 had its good moments. But there were quite a few bad moments as well. That's why I chose to include the above video in this post. For me, 2013 had its share of thorns. Seems like I've had to deal with a lot of issues over the course of this year. Yet I've all achieved a few things too. I've got a better idea about my longterm career goals and was able to finish a lot of big fan fiction projects. And on a smaller note, I was able to get my hands on every volume of the Sailor Moon manga.
In closing, I think this year was kind of average for me. As for this coming year, I can see a few problems on the horizon. But there also a few things I'm looking forward to. So I'm hoping the next year will be better for me than this one. And I hope the same for everyone else. Happy New Year to all.
