Hello, and welcome to my world of random thoughts. This world is where I'm going to talk about stuff related to anime and manga, and maybe a few other things. First, a few things about me.

I like cats, my favorite food is french fries, and I was born an only child.

Favorite Anime/Manga: Yu-Gi-Oh!, Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew, Card Captor Sakura, Vampire Princess Miyu, Code Geass, Digimon: Seasons 1 through 3, Pokemon (before they got rid of Misty), Gundam SEED, Strawberry Panic, Rideback, Full Metal Panic, and Slayers.

Other Anime/Manga that I like: Buso Renkin, Gurren Lagann, InuYasha, Kannazuki no Miko, Shattered Angels, Bleach, Dragon Ball Z, Durarara!!, Spice and Wolf, This Ugly Yet Beautiful World, Dragonaut: The Resonance, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Trinity Blood, Blue Gender, Eden of the East, Last Exile, and Soul Eater.

TV Shows that I like: Star Trek (Original, Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager), Magnum P.I., Numbers, The Simpsons, The West Wing, Hawaii Five-O (Remake), NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, Doctor Who, Leverage, The Mentalist, Elementary, and The Red Green Show.

Favorite Musical Groups/Artists: Phil Collins, Genesis (the band that Phil Collins was with originally), Journey, Styx, Boston, Queen, Billy Joel, John Denver, Survivor, and Josh Groban.

So now that's all you need to know about me. In this world I'll be talking about notable anime news stories, maybe stuff about the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game for anyone who's interested, stuff about me that relates to anime and manga in some way, and I'll probably rant about a certain series or a bunch of anime and manga. Or I may just talk about my life in general, if I feel like it. I'm not sure how often I'll post something here, but I'll try to as often as I can. In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy visiting.

URGENT!!

I just tried to log into Fan Fiction.Net and the little security code picture I'm supposed to type only came up as a box with a little question mark. So I couldn't log in. I tried hitting refresh several times, I tried two different browsers, and I even tried using my second computer (which I don't think I should try because I think it knocks out my internet connection). Nothing worked (I guess I could keep trying refresh, but I don't think it'd get me anywhere). So I really would like to know if anyone here on TheO who has a Fan Fiction.Net account is having the same problem.

It was actually working fine when I logged in earlier today, so it's most likely another glitch. But I would like to know all the same, because then it might mean I would need a new computer (both my computers are a little old). So anyone with a Fan Fiction.Net account, please let me know. And I apologize if I'm making too big a deal out of this.

Both Disgusting and Dangerous

So tonight I had the Food Network on, and they had one one of their game show type programs where the chiefs had to make a dish with certain ingredients. One of the ingredients they had to use in this episode was goat brains....

I did not even know you could use that for food. Heck, I didn't even know that anyone would WANT to use that for food. I mean that's just gross. Anyway, my dad was in the room at the time, and he was just as grossed out as I was. But he pointed something out to me that I did not know. Eating brain matter of any kind isn't just gross, it's dangerous. You see mad cow disease comes from cattle eating feed that has the brain matter of other cattle. And there is no cure for mad cow.

Now it could be that I don't know all the facts, and if anyone does feel free to correct me. But it now seems to me that using that sort of ingredient is a major health hazard. I don't know what the producers of that show were thinking. Of course even if it isn't as big a hazard as i think it is, I still wouldn't eat anything made with any sort of brain. I mean that's just nasty. Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Apparently this song was made into a stage play in Japan. And I just read on ANN that now they're going to base a book on it. It's interesting how one song could spawn all that, but then I guess that it how Black Rock Shooter began (at least I think it is).
