Hello there. Welcome to my world of Random Thoughts. In this world I’ll be posting stuff about anime and manga. Not to mention various other topics. I may post the occasional music video every now and than. And from time to time, I’ll just talk about my life in general. But first, here are a few things about me.

I was born an only child, for one thing. Originally I was planning to go into art professionally, but recently I’ve been more inclined towards writing. I still do the occasional wallpaper every now and then though, and I also still draw a little. But much of my energy these days goes into writing fan fiction. I’ve also recently become interested in archive and library work, which is something I’ve discovered I’m good at. Finally, like most people on the Internet, I like cats.

That’s pretty much all you need to know about me. I'm not sure how often I'll post something here, but I'll try to as often as I can. In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy visiting.

New Medabots Game

Hello all. I just saw something on the Anime News Network site that some of you reading might be interested in. Anyone remember an old anime series called Medabots? It was kind of an old favorite of mine, and it always kind of bugged me the way my dad would make fun of the show whenever he saw me watching it. Anyway, there's apparently a new Medabots game for the Nintendo DS being released in Japan. The most notable feature of this game seems to be that all of the human characters seem to be young women. Below is the link the article on ANN that includes the promotional video for the game.

I do kind of applaud these games for having an all female cast (excluding some of the Medabots, of course), but… I don't think that these games need the feature where the finishing move shreds the opponent's clothes. Anyway, just thought some of you reading might be interested in this.

Modified Intro

Hello again everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that I modified the introduction to this Random Thoughts world of mine to include a list of some of my favorite movies. I'll probably end up polishing the list and adding to it later on, but go ahead and take a look at what I have so far.

Sunday Anime Comics

Hello all. I just wanted to share a rather jumbled dream fragment I had last night. In the dream, I was reading the comics from the Sunday paper, and for some reason Selena from Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V was "guest starring" in a number of the comic strips. I can't remember any specific details about any of the strips other than this one panel where Selena seemed nauseated by something she was seeing on the T.V. There was also a comic strip for the classic anime series, Slayers for some reason. That would be kind of cool if there was, actually.

On a separate note, I just ran across this rather interesting article on the Anime News Network regarding the first Pokemon movie. You can read it by clicking on the link below.

The one thing about the above article that really stuck out to me was the point about how the first few Pokemon movies had some pretty deep themes going on in them. Now all of the Pokemon movies are pretty much just Godzilla movies aimed at little kids.

This concludes this random post about nothing.
