Vampire Story Chapter 3

"I need to hurry to the palace!"Hana yelled, crying, about to turn away.
“Why the palace? What palace? Hana, what are you talking about?" I asked curiously. I was also worried. What was this palace she was talking about? I barely knew her since about, a month ago, so I really didn't know much about her past. Now, I was curious.
"I need to hurry home" Hana cried, taking off again.What? Her home? I chased after her to see what she was talking about. A few hours later, we arrived at a humongous palace. "You live here?" I asked her. She just nodded and continued up the walk. "Do they know what you are?" I questioned. She just looked at me and continued walking. After a few minutes, she murmured, "yes."
Hana usually would be nervous and kind of embarrassed that someone knew more about where she lived but right now she could only think of one thing "hurry”. She hurried to her room door. It was a deep shade of midnight black and the handle was polished silver. She hurriedly put her hand on the door knob and swung open the door...
I had no idea what was going on but i followed her inside anyways. The room was an elegant maroon and green color. There was a canopy bed in the center of the room, but against the wall, the curtain was velvet green. The window curtains were a deep maroon. The dresser was a mahogany brown while the closet door was a mirror. Inside the closet, I bet there is a walk in area. The carpet was pearl white, but had a light green and maroon throw rug on it. The bed covers and pillows were a mixed silver, maroon and green. The blanket was both green and maroon. I gasped and managed to choke out, “Your room is nice."
Hana paid no attention to my comment and quickly went to the canopy bed and pulled back the curtain to reveal the black haired, blue boy from before. She carefully examined his neck. She sighed in relief; she had made it in time before anyone got to him.
I saw her rush to the bed and examine the boy I guess I heard her with last night. 'What is going on?' I wondered. Some of it made sense, but the palace? The worried expression on Hana's face? The way she examined his neck. Why would she do that? Was she scared that someone might have come? What did she find? All these questions swam around, colliding with each other while Hana slowly lowered herself on the bed beside him, so as not to wake him.
Hana sat down on the bed carefully so as not to wake him. His name was Terry. She softly twirled his hair in her fingers. I guess she finally started realizing reality. She looked at me and gave kind of a half smile.
I just watched Hana twirl Terry's hair around her fingers while I tried to figure out what was going on. Then it hit me. She loved him. She felt the same way about Terry that I felt about Light. I smiled back at her.
“You probably should be going back to Light," she told me gently."If you still remember the way back."
“Thank you,” I whispered. I left the room and headed back to our hideout. The entire run there, I thought about what I was going to tell Light. Should I tell him he was turning into a vampire? I didn’t know.
When I entered the house, he was looking at me. “I’m back,” I murmured. He just nodded. “I had to solve a problem with my friend.”
“Where is that other girl anyway?” he asked me.
“Umm. She had to go take of something at her pal-, I mean, at her home.” I knew I shouldn’t let him know where she lived, but I hated keeping stuff from him.
I went to sit on the bed, but he wanted something different. “Are you tired?” he asked me. I was about to shake my head, but then I realized my body felt exhausted; it must be all this running around and worrying. So instead, I nodded. He motioned for me to lay down next to him. I hesitated, but then obeyed. When I lay down, he wrapped an arm around me and pulled me closer. I cuddled into his chest, glad that he wanted me close, so obviously, no matter what I told him, he would still love me.
“What are you crying about?” he asked a few minutes later. ‘Man,’ I thought, ‘my tears must be soaking through his shirt.’
“I have something to tell you,” I said through my tears. “But you’ll hate forever.”
Hana watched as I left. She decided to come with me so she grabbed Terry gently in her arms and walked toward the hideout. She made herself invisible to mortals so she wouldn't frighten Light. When she opened the door she saw me crying on the bed.
Hana walked in just as I was about to tell him the reason. I motioned for her to go into the other room. At first, she looked confused, then she understood and carried Terry into the other room, where I heard her settle into a chair.
“Well, you know last night, under that tree?” I asked him. He nodded, curious. “Well, after that kiss, I, um, bit you.” I said that last part really quietly.
“Why would that be bad?” he asked, still clueless.
“Well, you see, I am a, um, vampire.”
He froze; I could feel his body totally freeze next to me. “You’re a vampire?” he asked in a whisper. I nodded. I probed his thoughts to see what he was thinking.
Well, I guess that's why she is more beautiful than any girl I have ever seen.
I chuckled quietly under my breath. He wasn’t even afraid of his own fate. After a long time, in which I almost fell asleep, he finally spoke.
“Well, I guess we could be together forever, right?” he said.
My heart just swelled to three times its size. He MUST love me. I just smiled at him, too happy to talk. He grinned, then asked, “So, that medicine-was it really medicine?”
I shook my head. I didn’t want to say what it was, but he was smart.
“It was blood, wasn’t it?”
I nodded once more. He just stayed silent. I cuddled closer to him, and he sighed and hugged me to him. We stayed like until Hana walked in.

CHAPTER 1

When I get to the forest, I see a young boy of about teenage years and he has shaggy brown hair that kind of falls into his eyes, which were a dazzling green.
'He is perfect' I think to myself. I walk out into the moonlight and says in a clear voice,' hello. What are you doing out here?"
Hana sees me leave with some guy and says “have fun”.I heard Hana murmur 'have fun' clearly. The buy had no chance of hearing though. A second after she told me that, he turned around and froze. I could imagine what I looked like to him: absolutely inhumanly beautiful. I cupped his face in my hand and asked again, “what are you doing out here?"
"N-nothing," he stuttered. I chuckled slightly; it sounded like bells.
"Would you like me to walk u home?" I asked him. When he nodded, I smiled slightly.
"What’s your name?" I asked him.
“Moonlight, but people just call me 'light'" he said much clearer.
He pointed where his house was and we started walking.
Hana sees a boy with black hair and blue eyes and smiles to herself and heads over)
I heard behind me, Hana walking in the opposite direction, and smelt the blood of a male in the same direction she was heading and smiled.
While we were walking, I saw a patch of grass with a single tree behind it. "You want to sit down?" I asked Light. He looked in the direction I was pointing and looked at me confused."I don’t see anything."
I realized that his eyesight was weaker than mine. I pointed when we were closer and he was like, "sure."
As we sat down, I heard his heart beat pick up. He was nervous. I sat close to him so our arms were near each other. His heart was going a mile a minute he was so nervous.
"Calm down," I murmured, touching his hand, which was spread out to support him.
"How did u know-" I covered his lips with my finger and whispered in his ear, “do u believe in vampires?"
When he nodded, stunned, I then asked, “would you ever want to become one?"
Hana sinks her teeth into the boys neck gently and starts drinking his blood
I felt the urge to change him, so I waited impatiently for his answer. "Yes, I would," he said uncertainly.
"Are u prepared?" I questioned. When he nodded, I asked the last question of his human years. "Do you have anyone important that will miss u if u ever leave?"
He shook his head and mumbled, “no one ever cared about me."
At that, I tilted my head toward him. He lifted his head automatically, thinking I was going to kiss him. I figured; why not tease him a bit?
When our lips met, I experienced something I never have before. It felt like, even though I didn’t have a soul, our hearts joined in one. It felt like my whole body was on fire even though I was a cold as stone. That was when I knew for certain that even though I never met my one true love in my human years, I could still have true love in my vampire ones.
When I released his lips to duck down to his neck, I noticed that both our breathing were uneven. I started placing butterfly kisses on his neck and shoulder until I smelt the vein where there was the most blood, and then I extracted my fangs and pierced the soft skin there, very kindly. As I was extracting his blood- which was the sweetest blood I ever tasted- I realized that I might have fallen love. That was when I stopped and split my own skin open. I offered it to him. "Drink it," I whispered. Too weak and stunned to decline, he went ahead and drank my blood. After a few minutes, I gently removed his mouth from my wrist and lay him down on the grass. I layer next to him and curled up to his masculine body.
"You need to relax now. Go to sleep, my love," I murmured into his ear, and as I watched his eyelids flutter closed, I made a vow to myself that I would never let him out of my arms.

Chaper 2

Hana finished quickly, and gently removed her fangs from his neck. she slowly walked over towards Twilight and smiled warmly towards her.
I saw Hana walking towards me and smiled back at her. I looked down at Light and smiled down at him.
When she came closer, I explained to her everything that happened and how I felt during the kiss and about the boy sleeping in my arms.
Hana told Twilight she knew how she felt and smiled. Hana started thinking about something but hoping Twilight didn't notice she quickly turned to her and asked "Where are you going to take him?"
"I don't really know," I told Hana when she asked where I was going to take Light. I then asked, "What were you thinking just now?" When she looked freaked for a minute, I told her, "I saw you were thinking of something. Come on, just spit it out."
Hana quickly shook her head and told me "Nothing" softly under her breath, then smiled warmly when I asked.
I just thought to myself ' she must be a shy vampire' and closed my eyes for a little bit. When I saw that the sun was coming up, I gently picked Light up in my arms and carried him to our little cottage where we made the decision to come out in the first place. When we got there, I placed him on an old bed that was there since forever and sat down next to him. As I gazed lovingly at his peaceful face, I heard Hana start pacing behind me.
"By the way, where is that boy I heard you with a while ago?" I asked her wonderingly, not tearing my eyes away from Light's handsome face.
“Where I left him..."Hana said, obviously hiding something. She knew he really was at the royal palace but was a little embarrassed to say it for more than just because she cared for that boy but also because she didn't like to bring up the fact of her being a princess.
"Ok, I guess that is that," I said, when I realized she didn't want to give anything away. Instead, I just lay beside Light, wanting him to wake up so I can see if my bite affected him in any way.
"Hmm..."Hana started, watching me."If you want....I could wake him up for you “she told me quietly"
I looked at Hana, surprised. Even thought she was shy and pulled back, she was a really cool friend. "Please?" I pleaded just as quietly. "But be kind about it, or else..." I warned.
Hana chuckled as she got my reaction and smiled warmly."Don't worry “She laughed quietly. She gently put her hand on his forehead and closed her eyes. His eyes started to open slowly as Hana reopened hers and smiled.
As I saw what Hana did, I watched with my breath held. When he fully woke up, I kissed him gently, but quickly retreated when sat bolt upright. "Where am I?" he demanded. "Who are you?" he asked me, as if he didn't remember anything; he probably didn't.

"Calm down," I soothed. "You are in a hideout Hana and I made to keep away from the sun. I am a girl you met last night and..." I drifted off. I was about to say he fell in love with me, but I remembered that I only knew that I fell in love with him. I didn't know if he fell in love with me.

"Wait a minute," he said, more calm. "Were you that lady that scared me half to death in the forest?" His eyes gazed into mine, and for an invincible creature, I felt very vulnerable. I couldn't say anything, so I just nodded. He shook his head, as if confirming something, then grabbed it. "Man, I feel weak," he stated.

I looked at Hana for help. How was I supposed to tell the one I fell in love with that he may have turned into a creature of the night? I wanted to tell him that maybe he needed blood, but I didn't want to freak him out. I probed Hana's mind- I did have mind reading powers- and detected....nothing. It was as if she was just watching the show with no thoughts about it at all.
Hana felt someone try to probe her mind and completely erased her thoughts so they would detect nothing. She then saw me looking at her for help. She rummaged in her purse and took out a container filled with blood, though it looked like water to everyone else."Drink some of this and you will feel a little bit better," Hana told the boy gently.
‘Thank you' I mouthed to Hana. I then looked at Light to see whether or not he'll take it. When he hesitated, I encouraged 'Go on'. He took it and drank eagerly. He quickly drew his mouth away from the bottle, disgusted. "What is this?" he asked Hana. I quickly became hesitant and looked once more at Hana. There was no way that I could tell him what I had done to him. I wanted him to know that my blood was flowing through his veins, but I didn't want him to not love me because I had turned him into a monster.
"Medicine does not always taste good" Hana said somewhat amused. She noticed that I seemed to be nervous and smiled warmly at me."Its okay" she whispered just low enough so only I could hear her.
I returned the smile, and glanced at my love to see if he bought it. He just smiled a little smile, then looked at me.

"What happened at the tree.....did it really...." he drifted off. I nodded. I wasn't sure whether he was talking about the pulse pounding kiss, or the bite, so I didn't say anything. He said it though.

"So, we really kissed?" he asked, nervously looking at the bed sheets and playing with a loose thread.

When I realized that he wasn't going to look up, I said softly, "Yes."

I easily picked up his thoughts- he must be changing slowly, because I could only pick up on vampire thoughts.

I can't believe I actually kissed a girl as pretty as this one. I wonder if I'm falling in love……

I smiled a little, and then made it disappear because he was looking up. He gazed openly at me, his jade green eyes looking at me as if it were only both of us in the world. No one else seemed to exist. I didn't even remember if Hana was still in the room or not, I was soo caught up in the way he was looking at me. It was as if he found the other half of himself.

I don't remember when he looked away, but all I know is that we were both breathing unevenly again, as if we were under that tree last night, except we were just gazing at each other.
Hana watched us quietly and her mind drifted off to what was waiting for her at the palace. Why did I take him there? She thought. Hana didn’t know quite why she took him to the palace, or why she called it the palace and not home like she should....the room was quiet. Hana realized what would happen if she left him alone at the palace for much longer. Her eyes grew wide and she started to rush out the door yelling “I have to hurry!!!”
I looked at the door where Hana ran out, confused. I wasn’t concentrating enough to pick up on her thoughts. I ran out, quick as a bullet, and yelled "Stop!" Hana turned around impatiently.
“What is it?" Hana asked, distressed."I need to hurry.” She frowned and tears started forming in her eyes.
